  • I saw that earlier today. Heck, the way our running game's been going, I'd sign him and play him. 🙂

Right? The thought crossed my mind.

  • Is it unreasonable that l want to see Chubb’s number retired? I get that we never won shit with him, but watching him run with a football was poetry in motion and it was special.

I know l’ll never see a Brown wearing 24 and not think of Nick Chubb.

Yeah, that's not done so much anymore.

Yeah, there's only so many numbers so retiring numbers is kind of a difficult thing.

  • Nick Chubb Weekend.

Nick was my favorite Brown, every year he was on the team. I think Stefanski put it best during Chubb's last year on the team. He said that Chubb did everything right. In the weight room, in the meeting rooms, on the practice field, in the building, outside the building, on the field, you name it. Nick always did the right thing on and off the field.

Nick Chubb was/is a throwback to when I was a kid watching Jim Brown, and then Leroy Kelly. He'd do something jaw-dropping on the field, hand the ball to the official in the end zone, and trot towards the sideline. No gyrations. No signature dance. No pointing to his name on the back of his jersey. Just a plain ol' class act!

Ray Ellis didn't grab your attention? ?

  • Nick Chubb was my favorite Brown for all the time he spent here.. It was painful to watch him go down the way he did.. It was always cool to me that we have the same initials NJC as our name and that we were both named Nick. In Spanish that means he was my Tocayo. Person of the same name.. So to Tocayo Mi.. Good luck whatever you do... Wherever you may go.. May God bless your soul.. And may you continue to do good and inspire people... I'm a Nicholas Jamal Chubb fan for life! Thank you for the amazing thrills!
