What’s everyone doing on this mini bye?

Rams and Ravens boo, Good job Jax though.
I was fixing my lawn mower so not watching any of it

Making a bunch of zucchini bread loaves, cleaned up out at the barn, we did a jig saw puzzle, and my one team is worse than bad, in last place, and I blame the stupid computer because I was fishing and didn't get to pick my team. My other team, did great, but still losing, not even Josh Allen, Judkins and Cook can save this week. But I shall endeavor to persevere.

Mowed the lawn and relaxed with some gaming most of the day.

Came back from Erie, PA after attending a 50th bday party for a good friend of mine Saturday night.
Me and three other friends went in together and got him a Walter Payton jersey for his bday. Thank dog he's not a Steelers fan.

It was a work weekend for me. Been at it since 4 AM and just got home. I’m whipped, but it’s my last work weekend of the year so l’m more than ready for some quality chillaxin’.

Went to watch my brother in law get inducted into the NE Swimmers HOF for setting a world record in the 1500 freestyle event for ages 70-74.

How did the zucchini bread turn out? Can we get the recipe in the Gameday Food thread? -

It woulda been cooler if he broke the record for freestyle rapping at age 70-74. I would totally watch that. -

Get it fixed? What was the culprit?
It's one of these Craftsman/Husqvarna models with a common failure on the front transmission mount where the bolts strip out because the case is aluminum. So the transmission basically rotated and the belt got destroyed.
I did the redneck fix of tapping bigger holes and using bigger bolts with a boat load of loctite, seems solid
But I am waiting on more parts to put the rest of it together, it needs a new transmission cooling fan too since that broke apart.
I bought this thing for like $80 5 years ago and all it needed then was a valve adjustment, ran it since then without any problems until this year... I replaced the head gasket, carbeurator, starter. Now fixing the transmission mount, new fan, new drive belt.
Hopefully it keeps going strong, I dont wanna shell out the crazy prices mowers are these days. -

Aluminum is less dense than most other metals. I get it. Every deck will eventually fail because deck screws are more dense than wood.

Seriously. I would gladly clean the shittiest of toilets and dig the deepest of ditches before l would want to paint walls or cut grass.

Sat outside under the gazebo watching football on multi view sipping bourbon and smoking cigars.

Pictures probably not clear enough but it shows the failure, before, during, after fix.
After I did the tap to bigger bolt things I saw a YT video of someone who just removed the bottom bolts on the transmission case, drilled through, and added long through bolts that go all the way through the mount.
Woulda been better but ah well, this should last the life of the mower with how old it is
