I guess there was talk of flexing the game to sunday night, but they decided to stick with what i am sure will be a barn burner of a game, with philly and the redskins

Man would it be awesome to sweep these bastards. I have no idea when the last time the Browns pulled that off… 1988?

Hell yes it would. Has it been that long? Let’s do it. -
Would absolutely love to be wrong but if I'm a betting man? Got to go with the squealers. I'm a closet Brownie I'll admit it

Shocked they didn't honestly, if there was ever a time to flex the browns into primetime this would be the one.
There's some rule that prevents two primetime games in a season for division foes. The main networks got it passed years ago.
It's actually a good thing or all Sunday/MNF games would involve the NFC East. -
I'll be honest I always prefer the 1 PM games, so no complaints about that.
Boy, wouldn't it be some shit if they win this game. My guess (not hope) is they may have a letdown game against the Saints or Texans, but going into the bye (and then three straight home games) potentially at 7-3 with a 3-0 division record wouldn't have been something I'd ever imagine. Huge opportunity to set the tone for the rest of the season with a win Sunday.

points to consider:
NFL rushing leaders so far:
https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/team-stats?category=rushing&season=2026
Browns are 19th, squealers 20th in rushing. wouldn't have figured that preseason.
https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/2026-nfl-defense-rankings-team-pass-rush-stats Pass defense - Browns 7th, sqealers 11th in pass defense.
https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-offensive-line-rankings-2026 squealers - offensive line rated #3. Browns oline rated 16th.
sadly, in the rain - who knows. But they have an old almost smart qb. The Browns have a stupid qb. That will probably be the difference in the game, unless the defense can create turnovers. maybe.
