  • Da Bears are legit. Put up 35 points vs the Seahawks in Seattle last night for an easy win.

Meatball on spaghetti - via trade 1 week ago they added one of the toughest DTs on the planet - Jeffery Simmons. Dutch - I think I predicted Chicago to make the Super Bowl on your annual pre-season questions and predictions exercise.

  • Big game for the Browns.

I'm hoping they utilize KC Concepcion & Dylan Sampson on the AstroTurf as it should help play to their shifty selves.

The Browns have got to figure out how to get started in these games. The 1st Q has been a problem all season.

In Flugel's 1st ever Football Follies or Jollies, it's gonna be Jollies as time expires. It's OUR Cleveland Browns so we know darn well it doesn't matter where the Saints' O or D ranks.
    Keys to the game?

    Defer. Kickoff & Kickass!

How quickly does Sheduer process what's in front of him vrs the speed of the game/Saints' pass rush? If he's patting the football in the pocket it's a bad sign unless it's very infrequent.

The OL has to show up prepared this week; and I dare say if 1 guy isn't up to handling his job - time to sit that feller so he can watch someone willing to do so. We don't need any more mystery meat out there!
Our DL, and DTs in particular, will remind us what they're made of.

Mostly, I'm trusting the will of this team based on seeing them overcome early deficits quite a bit this year. It's a 60 minute game; and man do they ever reflect their leadership from Ruty and Monken staying dialed in until the clock reaches 0.

    Browns 24 Saints 22

I'm really struggling getting a feel for this game, especially with Sanders starting.

I'm intrigued by him starting, but have no idea how it will go. If Watson was starting I'd predict a Browns win, but now? Not sure.

If he studies their different alignments and what they like to do out of them -it should help hasten his pre-snap reads as to where his favorable matchup should be in conjunction with the route being run in each area within the progression. Not only that, but it could give him an idea of when it might be time to tuck it up and run. He's not super-fast but if he knows where he's going he can be super effective a la Brian Sipe once upon a time.

I'm predicting a fumbled snap and a few false starts. And Monken is going to have to keep an eye on the play clock in case he needs to call TO.

Sanders is going to try to impress. (and probably try too hard by forcing things)

I hope we don't let another bottom feeder team beat us.

Both teams have decent D and bad offense. Seems like field goal galore.

With Sanders starting, I changed my pick to a Browns loss. He sucks
