Josh Cribbs understand to get contract he needs Wildcat to work

Special from this mornings Plain Dealer: Josh Cribbs understands that it's likely his demands for a contract extension could be met if he plays more than just special teams. That probably means more snaps in the WildDawg formation and that suits Cribbs just fine.
He also says that a deal will happen soon. In CantonRep.com:
“I talk to Coach (Eric Mangini) all the time, and something will get worked out. It hasn’t happened yet, but ... In talking to coach, I feel like they’re making steps and making strides in the right direction. I’m shooting for it to happen before the end of the season. I’d say there’s a good chance.”

however, like the rest of our offense, there are things outside his control. the right side of the line, the running backs, the receivers who can't catch the ball, and the biggie: a coordinator that can't do anything right. you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit.
