  • perhaps they have no confidence because they realize both QB's are useless?

just ponder it......no reason to call plays they cant execute.

  • he has had his 8+ games he is what he is.... which is pretty much what scouting saw... athletic, smart, hard working, POOR accuracy and arm strength...... Is it Daboll? probably half but if you were and offensive coordinator and saw his accuracy.... well you would call rushing plays also....

    +1

  • Way over throwing the ball. Has good protection for the most part. Not making a case for himself next year.

Good point Diehard! And do you know who gets ripped for it? The new OC. On that first INT - our WR was wide open coming from right to left and there was an enormous cushion given by the guy who made the INT.

Maybe, just maybe, that's why the guy is reluctant to open up the playbook more for Quinn. At Detroit, the OC opened the playbook when Quinn proved to him that type of game plan wasn't too overwhelming vrs Detroit's defensive talent in the dry indoor climate with no wind or slippery footballs.

I was REALLY hoping we'd see a better passing day from Quinn today. That said, I LIKED it when he ran the ball a couple of times today. That bootleg run was a beaut.

  • Quinn's intelligence is whats going to make him a good qb...believe me as long as you have something between your ears you can play the position.

What if you don't have any arms?

if you're smart enough you'll design bionic arms and have them built for you haha

Like Jax, from Mortal Kombat. I can dig it.

  • Buffalo, I'm exaggerating, it may have been around 20 passes, but I know there were AT LEAST nine dropped, may have been closer to 11 or 12, and D.A is a rhythm guy that needs reps, but not when you only throw on third down. I am not hating on Quinn, I just think a lot of people complain about why Quinn isn't playing good on reasons that aren't his fault, when the same thing happens for D.A. and people call for his first born to be executed. Whatever QB is at the helm I hope wins for Cleveland, but I think there is a reason most NFL players like Steve Young believe Anderson has much more upside than Quinn.

I tend to think that Robiskie doesn't know the plays and ran the wrong route.

I believe we should sign stephen hawking up for this QB creation program...seems to me he'd be the ideal candidate.

  • athletic, smart, hard working, POOR accuracy and arm strength...... Is it Daboll?

Daboll's fault?..BQ is not an accurate QB..Some people think it can't be taught and thats its a gift

You either have or you don't ? Joe Namath's book calls it seeing the angle and throwing it at that angle.

    Does Brady see it?

I'm a firm believer that you can teach accuracy. Accuracy boils down to mechanics. A slight flaw in throwing mechanics at any point can drastically reduce accuracy. Also, a QB has to develop a rhythm with his receivers, something we have yet to really see this season, excluding the Detroit game.

What I don't believe you can teach, though, is vision. Maybe BQ needs a pair of glasses, Wlid Thing style.

  • I don't think the problem is really Quinn so much as bad play calls. If it's 3rd and long, you HAVE to pass and the other team knows that. Don't blame the QB for doing the plays he's told to, no matter how bad they are, and having a less than desirable outcome.
