I dont really use facebook that often, sorry. You go to the football games? I currently go to the Tusc campus in New Philly cuz its close to my house so i live at home and its much cheaper but i usually hit up a few games. I watched them beat West Mich and then loose to an awful Akron team. Im excited for the future of the football program

Ya i was happy to see they beat Akron big, Kent used to be awesome at bball back a few years w/ trevor huffman.
Football though it should get interesting w/ these young guys gaining experience. The punter (backup) Jake Kilroy went to my High School, nobody from my high school plays D-1 so that was kind of cool haha

#1 Kent State is a liberal arts school...I did not know Dick Cheney was suppose to be my professor for my classes.
#2 I have not once ever had a professor not show up for class. Some may show up a few minutes late but most of the time classes always start as scheduled.
#3 You remind me of my father. Let me guess. You are some guy in your mid 40's who own a business and think that the capitalist way is the only way and that the youth of today runs wild! We are being taught the wrong things and Mr. Socialist Obama is going to recruit us for the next communist Russia!

Sounds like any college to me.......but I agree...colleges, not just Kent seem to have it down to a art in when they offer classes and the way they steer students early on seems to guarantee more and more students will have to remain at least 1 extra semester to finish up that "last" class, and it is done mostly to the boarding students. The ones who can't really commute.
Been through that with my youngest son....he is one class away from his degree, but had a job offer he couldn't refuse...I agreed with him seeing the scarcity of good paying jobs....this job he has pays a salary in the high 50's and a very realistic shot at another 7-10k per year in bonus(that isn't a max figure)......so, while disappointed he hasn't attained his degree, I figure get on with your life, and at 1 class, somewhere down the road he will be able to figure out a way to attain the sheepskin.
I figure if the company we is working for doesn't care about the degree, I might need to adjust my thinking and not care so much either.
If the job doesn't work out for one reason or another, a 6 month pit stop in Georgia isn't something that can't be done.....or transfer credits, lose a few in the process, but still have a very attainable degree in your future.
