Cribbs, Lewis make NFL All-Decade Team

Two Browns have been named to the NFL's All-Decade Team.

Joshua Cribbs was one of two kick returners selected to the 53-man roster, while Jamal Lewis was one of four running backs to earn the prestigious honor.

The NFL All-Decade teams are chosen every 10 years by the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee members. The 2000s marked the ninth All-Decade team to be selected in NFL history.

Cribbs was one of 20 players in this year's Pro Bowl also named to the All-Decade team. An undrafted free agent pickup in 2005, Cribbs has become one of the top special teams players in football and holds the NFL record with 8 career kickoff-return touchdowns - not bad for a guy who spent four years early in the decade playing quarterback at Kent State and hadn't returned a kickoff since his Pop Warner days before joining the Browns.

Lewis, a first-round pick of the Ravens in 2000, posted back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons with the Browns in 2007-08 after punishing the Browns (and many other teams) during his six seasons in Baltimore. He's a member of the 10,000-yard club for his career and joins Shaun Alexander, Edgerrin James and LaDainian Tomlinson as running backs on the All-Decade Team.

The All-Decade Team is comprised of two quarterbacks, four running backs, one fullback, four wide receivers, two tight ends, four offensive tackles, four guards, two centers, four defensive tackles, four defensive ends, six linebackers, four cornerbacks, four safeties, two kickers, two punters, two kick returners and two punt returners. Two coaches were also selected, former Browns and current Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, and retired Colts coach Tony Dungy.
