Be honest with your answers i just dont see how having an ageing Antawn Jamison is going to be a better choice that Amare Stoudemire entering his prime and younger

Poll results from the old forum

    who do you want more

    • Amare Stoudemire : 7 votes
    • Antawn Jamison : 6 votes
    • Corey Maggete: 0 votes
    • Troy Murhpy : 0 votes

I'm glad it was Jamison cuz I actually didnt want any trades to happen, I didnt want to lose Hickson, keeping JJ and bringing in Jamison is a plus to me. I know he is a little older but being able to play for something unlike when w/ Wizards he will be good.

I also wasn't sure if Suns would really pull the trigger on that trade

We've already discussed this on facebook Jamison even at the ripe old age of 34 can still put up 20 a night this gives us the floor stretcher that we so desperately needed. On top of the fact that in a year or so JJ is going to a be younger healthier Stoudamire its a win win.....this a complete team now for once we can say that about the cavs.

What we're seeing here in 2010 is precisely what happened in NE a decade ago. It worked for them then, and it wiill work for us now. Why? Because it's the only way it's ever worked in pro football. Just ask Paul Brown. Or Vince Lombardi. Or Tom Landry. .02, Clemdawg

Correcto. Jamison plays way better D than Stoudemire, is more of a team player & giving up Hixon would have been mortgaging the future to win it all now. IMHO, we really didn't even need to make a move at all- but the Cavs are now not only loaded for Bear, they're loaded for Elephant. Oh, and Z comes back in time for the playoffs. That guy deserves to retire as a Cav, and I think he will if LeBron & Co. win it all this year.

So we essentially gave up a real low first round pick to get a forward who's still playing big minutes, averaging 20 PPG, and can guard Rashard Lewis and Rasheed Wallace.

Excellent Points even though I personally wanted Amare, and at the end what we gave up for an All-Star is unreal. Danny Ferry is doing a good job at GM in my opinion. If that 1st round pick ends up panning out........

Since this site is still pretty small, I thought it would be good to have a site’s night out. Movies, bowling, just a cruise, something like that. Trying to organize something when this site is bigger, will be tough, but I thought this would be a good way for all of us to get to know each other better.

Any suggestions? Ideas? Post them here.
