  • Agreed - North America really kicked the World's butt, not just the Euros in these Olympics!

There's no other country I'd rather have than Canada as neighbors either - what with your great exports like Canadian beer and beautiful women! Any neighbor who gives you beer and women is alright by me!

And don't forget William Shatner, Michael J. Fox, Shania Twain, Neil Young, Dan Aykroyd, and Jim Carrey just to name a few.

  • I hope you tuned in, because that may well go down as the greatest hockey game ever played.

I did man. I haven't tuned in to watch a hockey game (been to games) since Gretzky and the Oilers when I was like 8. Might have to catch a game or two. But I think the big obstacle is us Cleveland fans is we love our Cleveland teams. Trust me it would be different if Cleveland had one.

Do I lose a nut if I mention Burton Cummings and The Guess Who? or Bryan Adams?

Don't forget Mike Myers and John Candy.

  • I did decide to watch a little of the Columbus Blue Jackets/Vancouver Canucks game last night.

Does anyone believe that we in the Cleveland area should be Columbus Blue Jacket supporters? I do like their logo.

  • OK, I have given you a glimpse of who are supposed to be the hottest Canadian women. Give us your vote for #1.

(For my money, the Gold Medal to Kim Cattrall,, with Elisha Cuthbert the silver, and based on these photos Shania Twain the Bronze)

  • Pamela Anderson got noticed as a hot chick in the crowd at a BC Lions game at BC Place (where the Olympic ceremonies were). She was put up on the jumbotron and the rest is history

    [edit] Personal life

Estella Warren was born in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, to Esther, an elementary school headmistress, and Don Warren, a used car dealer. She is the youngest of three daughters.[1]

    [edit] Synchronized swimming

In 1990, at the age of 12, Warren moved to Toronto to train with the national synchronized swimming team. In 1995, after becoming the senior national champion at 17, Warren had the chance to move on to the 1996 Summer Olympics. She is a three-time Canadian national champion, and the solo bronze medallist at the 1995 Junior World Championships.

    [edit] Fashion modeling

Warren has appeared in Sports Illustrated, Vogue, Vanity Fair, and two television commercials for Chanel No. 5 perfume. She was named Maxim Magazine's Hottest Woman in 2000. She was ranked Number 61 in FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005" special supplement and was the November 2007 entry in Stuff magazine's 2006-07 pinup calendar.

Warren also has appeared in campaigns for Ugg Australia, Andrew Marc, Perry Ellis, Nine West, Cartier, Volvo, De Beers, and Cacharel, as well as in television advertisements for Samsung. Additionally, she has modeled for Victoria's Secret and in 2000 hosted the televised special for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue's 2000 edition.

    [edit] Acting

Warren's movies include Driven (2001), Planet of the Apes (2001), Kangaroo Jack (2003), The Cooler (2003) and in Blue Seduction (2009).

Warren has appeared in That '70s Show in 2003, as well as in Law & Order and its spin-off Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, both in 2005. She also appeared in Ghost Whisperer, in an episode entitled "On the Wings of a Dove", where she portrayed Alexis ("Lexi") Fogerty, which aired on November 11, 2005.

Warren has appeared in music videos for INXS's "Afterglow" and Blank and Jones's "Beyond Time".

Well, she certainly will be put high on the "Hot Canuck Chick List". Over most of the ones I put on her, though, personally, I still think I prefer Kim Catrall and Elisha Cuthbert.
