We're going to the Playoffs

I think it's important for us fans to be the 12th man, and get behind this team! Stop selling your damn tickets to Steelers fans! Nothing worse than seeing 1/3 of CBS filled with those stupid towels! We were a significant impact in the 80s. We have the makings of a good team here. Let's get behind them! Furthermore, I think after the Lebron debacle this team is chomping at the bit to win us over, and prove that we are truly, and always have been a football town first!

Time to get realistic. We are very thin on offense. WR is a real weakness. Our D was quite bad last year but could improve drammatically. We are thin at RB. We have a QB shuffle going on with mediocre DelHomme, learning McCoy and the question mark Wallace.
The schedule is brutal and Baltimore and Cincy will be better than last year. Pittsburgh will have Ben both times we play them. Our own division has three winning teams in it not counting us. The rest of the schedule is brutal.
8-8 would be a real good season. Expecting more is living in dream world.
I like what is happening but it is going to take more than this year to turn it around
And rogers is useless and we should trade the old fat lazy gassed one

i truly think that Cincy was highly over rated last year, and it showed down the stretch and into the playoffs. I think that we match up pretty good against them

Thin at RB? Jerome Harrison, James Davis, Peyton Hillis, Chris Jennings and Montario Hardesty and we are THIN at RB?

our D wasnt really that bad last year. yes our secondary was suspect at best, but when the offense is going 3 and out 90% of the game and our D has to play 70% of the game their numbers will look a lot worse than it really is. Detroits D was/is exponentially worse off than us, and we had no right being in the same breath as those goofs

Below is the score's of our 2009 games against our division opponents. We were in every game except Baltimore at the beginning of the year. Now are defense is going to be light years ahead of what it was last season with the additions of Brown, Haden, Ward, Fujita, and Gocong. The offense will have another year in the system with a dominant O-line, promising young WR's with a year under their belt, a stable full of quality backs and a veteran QB to put it all togeather. I think we have a shot to pull out 3-4 wins within the division and another 6-7 out of division. That would put us at 9-7 at worst 11-5 at best. I'm gonna say we sweep the Steelers, split with Baltimore and Cincy and win 6 out of division games. Going 10-6 making the playoffs, I know this is wishfull thinking buts it not that unrealistic. When we get off to a 2-0 start against Tampa and the Chiefs this team is gonna belief, and from there we wont look back.
Baltimore Ravens L 3 34
Cincinnati Bengals L 20 23 OT
Pittsburgh Steelers L 14 27
Baltimore Ravens L 0 16
Cincinnati Bengals L 7 16
Pittsburgh Steelers W 13 6
Out of Division games
Tampa_Bay-W
Kansas_City-W
Atlanta-L
New_Orleans-L
New_England-L
New_York-L
Jacksonville-W
Carolina-W
Miami-W
Buffalo-W

Geez I am sick of people hating on Rogers. I am excited to see what he can do with Rubin in the middle. If nothing else, Rogers blocks FG and PATs like no other. Besides his idiotic gun incident, I don't see any reason to hate him...
Anyway, regardless what record we end up with this year, I just want to be competitive in most games. If we go 7-9 or 8-8, but play hard in 4 or 5 losses, I see it as a solid season. I just want consistency/progress...

So your are happy adulating a fat piece of shit gasser who cannot play two downs in a row and lead us to one win in ten games last year. Keep saluting losing! Shaun Rogers is a ppeice of shiot and record proves...........TEN YEARS TEN LOSING TEAMS.......
BUT SUCK UP AND ADMIRE THE FAT SLOB GASSER
dumping him will the most positive sign in years.........and I am sure they are trying but no takers..........meanwhile dumbass Cleveland loves this POS
BTW, I made an astute comment about the lead topic, no intelligent support or detraction............but here we are loving a fat overweight, useless out of shape ................pOS
and that is hilarious
and when the detractors get amnesia, which they will that will be even more hilarious

Dude, relax. It's Rich. He hates everyone except Paul Brown, Jim Brown, Stan, Zombo, and maybe Ghoolie.
Rich, travel safe and lighten up on Rogers.

Upgraded? Your upgrades wouldn't start for the Steelers. It's one thing to upgrade from the bottom. It's something different to upgrade to a level of football relevance. There are maybe 3 players on your entire roster that would start for the Steelers and two are on the offensive line. The Browns also beat the Steelers on a terrible skid, one which we bounced back from a little to late. The defense simply couldn't hold a 4th quarter lead to save it's life for those six games and a loss to the Browns was the result. Remind me, what was your record last season and what was ours? The Steelers are talent laden, the browns "Well not so much"
lol oh the comedy this message board brings.
