CLEVELAND -- Browns linebacker D'Qwell Jackson, who is making a comeback this preseason from a torn pectoral muscle, may have suffered another pectoral injury in practice today, a source told The Plain Dealer.

It's not known if it's the surgically-repaired one or not. Jackson went in to be examined by the doctor at about 8 p.m.

Jackson, who had been starting all camp at inside linebacker, walked off the field midway through practice very slowly and with his head down. He returned later in the session with a towel around his neck and looking sad.

One-by-one, players came up to express their concern. At one point, it looked like he pointed to his chest. He watched the final 15 minutes of practice from the sidelines, still looking down. Close friends such as Mike Adams talked to him, and he walked off the field with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.

In other news, all of the Browns 53 man roster had every injury in their body and contracted 17 different types of Staph Infection. the Browns forfeit all 16 games and will get an expansion draft in January.

Agreed. i was hoping that DQ would turn the corner and finally become an impact player, or at least add to the depth of our LB group. Hopefully, the injury isn't serious.

i hope the injury isn't too serious as well. dq seems like a really nice guy, but i just don't think it's going to work out for him in cleveland. i hope i'm wrong!

Poor guy - can't seem to catch a break. But I don't have any real issues with this as I always thought DQ made the vast majority of his tackles 5yds downfield.

If he did hurt himself while tackling, it's a sure bet he did it 8yds into our secondary.

Its probably only a strain; if he torn something he would be in a lot of pain and trainers would have him sent out to be evaluated immediately. He wouldn't be back 15 minutes later watching practice.
