  • I think these departed guys miss us (fans). They get to these third-world cities who throw a bunch of money at them, but when they step out of their limo they get a gathering and a golf clap, not the crazy-eye frenzy freaking fans that live in Cleveland.

There's no place like Cleveland, there's no place like Cleveland ...

DA went 2 for 17 in a game for 17 yards.

He had the worst QB rating possible, the back-up QB that doesnt even dress had a higher rating because he didnt throw a pass.

You may want whats best for the Browns, allegedly, but DAs cock is in your mouth and its hard to understand you. Think its time for another reach around on D & S.... you old stubborn bastid.

The ball hit the receiver's hands on 13 of those 17 passes. They were credited with 9-11 drops, depending on who you talk to. 9 is believable, the other two were tough catches.

I think mikey's got some pent up issues.

  • Anderson got a raw deal here. We can all point to the 2007 season as a positive or negative spin, however you want to look at it. Sure, he screwed up in throwing 4 INT's in Cincy ... but one could ask, what the hell were we throwing the ball so much for in that (windy) game anyway? or we could point to the Oakland game and the botched Fieldgoal that lost that game. Maybe we aren't in the hunt to just miss the playoffs if Anderson doesn't win the shoot-out against those same Bengals after taking over for Frye. Maybe the kid does a teeny-weeny bit better if he received the first team snaps that preseason.

All I know is that a lot of fans here got a redass for DA. The term 'Homo' was used a lot in describing these fans, not becaue of a Paris Hilton like slogan, but because all Quinn had was the buff (shirtless) body. It had to be the reason because the guy had never done anything football related in the NFL to win anyone over by his play. Anderson put up stats that linked back to the good ole days ... maybe even surpassed Kosar for a single season?

In a nutshell, whatever your fetish is, get over it. Anderson and Quinn are both gone. Quinn fans can go wrestle with those Tebow rascals. Anderson has a decent equal in Leinhart to beat out.

I wish'em both well. In fact, I wish Tim Couch well, wherever that nutsack is today.

Stop hating Mikey, you may get a BQ fix on NFL.com this preseason.

  • DA was just a godawful QB, as bad as I've ever seen start that many games.

He will never start again in the league, nor will he get any better. He has yet to improve since HS, so I doubt he will now.

He made a lot of money here and then spit in the town's face as he left. Savage and his tenure here will be remembered the most for setting this franchise back for years by committing to DumbAss.

Putrid fawking QB, but hey----he had an arm didn't he?

  • Drafting Quinn set us back at least 3 years because we gave up a pick in 2007 that could have been Lamarr Woodley (we were very thin at LB) or Kevin Kolb (who the Eagles picked with the pick we gave up) and two picks in 2008 that could have been, well, anybody. (Chris Johnson, Chad Henne, etc. take your pick -- though with Savage drafting we would have probably picked Kentwan Balmer and Brian Brohm and wasted the picks anyway).

I agree that the Quinn pick looks terrible right now.. But thank God we picked Joe Thomas number 2 overall that year!! So I guess it could have been worse..

  • Mikey,

Take that dick out of your ass, and shove it in your mouth. Hopefully that will shut you up.

If you think Anderson was the worst thing for this team, you're an imbecile. He was terrible, yeah. But the combination of Anderson/Quinn/cycling head coaches/cycling GMs/ and shitty draft picks has been the worst thing for this team. Essentially, the new millenium has been the worst thing for this team in general. Anderson was just one peice of the puzzle.

And he'll find himself starting again for somebody before he's gone. Maybe not Arizona, because John Skelton is about to be the next Tom Brady/Joe Flacco hybrid story. But he'll start somewhere.

  • I'm not trying to be a dick, but come on guys, we're all Browns fans here. Let's spend our energy fighting with the rival fans, and bitch slapping them, instead of fighting with each other! I think that we can all agree that our team is in better shape with the QBs we have now than last year.

I think its amazing that you three faggots (Zombo Ate and D&S) call yourselves Browns fans.

The guy was the worst thing possible for this team but still you defend him. He sucked a horses dick and now hes gone, for a good reason. We finally got management that knew he was garbage and he was sent packing thank fcking god!

Shut the xxxx up about him, he was the worst QB on this team for the past two years, attribute a few decent starts in 07 to whatever buttxxxx masturbation fantasy you want, he was/is garbage and you are garbage for being undying supporters of him.

All of your credibility of sports knowledge is beyond question at this point.

    In closing, xxxx you.

Now who could argue with that logic?

Attack, attack, attack, make claims, offer no proof or stats to back up your position, flame, attack, attack. Do you really think anybody takes you seriously?

I bet I get a pizzadelivery comment as a retort.

  • You guys wanna talk about a shitty QBs that were once a part of this organization... here are 2 names; Doug Pederson, and Trent Dilfer.

  • There were a lot more of them than that.

  • Oh come on guys. Everybody keeps trashing our recent QB's, and I for one am tired of it. I keep reading that we haven't had a good QB since we came back............. It's almost like all of you forgot about Spergon Wynn.

Nope... didn't forget about him either. It is amazing that for an organization that has had some great QBs, they have not been able to obtain a solid since their return. I do stand by my theory that Couch under different circumstances and a better supporting cast would have been OK for us, and probably would still be with the team. He wasn't great, but he did show that he could win some games.

  • its hard to let go of quinn, he was hot and sucked. That's a great quality for any gay man
