I'm like a Pavlov dog? I check this board daily just as I check other rival boards. The difference is I don't usually post on the other boards as often because they aren't preoccupied with discussing the Steelers at every turn and when they do it's usually of the more intelligent variety. I posted here because it's yet another example of a completely useless Steeler related post. It has nothing to do with the off-season, the division or anything football besides making lame cracks at our QB. A QB that sits comfortably in the top 5 in the NFL and has two Super Bowls. The joke is on you if it's on anything. I just think these posts are funny because all they do is drag the Steeler faithful from the woodwork and so many of you bitch about it on the regular.

It doesn't bother me. I get a decent amount of solid info here and it's the ONLY reason I am here from time to time. However I'm also amused by all the complaining, specifically complaining directed at the Steeler faithful. Yet day after day a thread is started that is Steeler related. It gets quiet as far as Steeler fans are concerned and then someone pulls out the smoke signal. Vicious cycle and it amuses me.

ESPN's Jay Mariotti arrested by L.A. police

August 21, 2010 | 8:17 am

ESPN personality and sports columnist Jay Mariotti was arrested overnight by Los Angeles police officers in the Pacific division.

He was booked on suspicion of a felony, but officials would not provide further details.

A source with knowledge of the case described it as a domestic disturbance charge involving his girlfriend. He was being held on $50,000 bail.

Mariotti is a well-known sports commentator who can be seen on the ESPN show "Around the Horn." He also writes for a sports website called Fanhouse.com. Known for his outspoken views, he used to write a sports column for the Denver Post and the Chicago Sun-Times.

Details of the arrest were not immediately available
