Uh Oh.

We will have them in our house on a short week for them to prepare . And besides ....we will probably come out swinging . Wonder who will be at QB . Don't know the extent of Jake's ankle thing .

Phillip Rivers is raging lol
Yeah, you're thinking of the NFC West Mr. T.

I still dont have a lot of respect for any of the teams in the west right now, AFC or NFC.
IMO: the AFC N & E are the conferences that are the toughest to get through.

The Chiefs look good, hopefully we play better.

Hey Romeo, where the xxxx was this defense in Cleveland?!
Screw you Romeo.

Exactly- he had our corners playing 10 yards off of wrs, and today he had 3 guys jamming Gates at the line.
KC certainly looks much improved- and I would take Rivers in a heartbeat to be our qb- some of those throws were amazing.

how did the chiefs look good? cassel was 10-22 for 68 yds. his longest pass was for 16 yds. t jones had 11 carries for 39 yds. jamal charles had 11 carries for 92 yds. 56 of those yds came from one rushing td. they had a 1-11 3rd down efficiency. their offense had a total of 197 yds against a crappy looking san diego defense. the chiefs got a td from a kr, but there's no guarantee that's going to happen every week. the chiefs d had no ints, 2 sacks, 4 tfls and 5 qb hits.
the chiefs didn't look impressive at all. they did enough to win the game and that's about it. whether or not they beat the browns this sunday remains to be seen, but they aren't going far playing like they did on mnf.

Always up for grabs? Im pretty sure the Chargers have controlled the last 5 years.
Maybe I am thinking of the NFC West, Isn't that the conference that the stoolers had their last 2 SB wins against?
IMO: The Chargers are in decline, they are in need of a big RB for the type of offense they run. Sproles is good, But he needs the respect from a solid passing game. he is not a Harrison who you can hand the ball to 30 times and get you 200 yards a game with a shitty QB and WR's who cannot catch a cold.

You know sh.it outside of your Cleveland Browns and even then things are suspect. They drafted a big back in the first round this year. Ryan Matthews, sproles spells when necessary. The Chargers have also owned that division for a while even though they do sh.it come playoff time. Stick to your Browns and poltical conspiracy threads.

The Chiefs defense is holding very well. Special teams is much improved. Running game is scary.
0-2?
I hope not.

The Browns for sure let that game slip out of their hands. I don't see (hopefully) that kind of collapse happening at our first at home game. We have the personnel to win, just keep from crumbling with them damn turnovers. Oh, and another thing at the end of the game as the clock is running out every player better keep his hat on...(remember D. Rudd)

What I'm confused about is how you're speaking of Charles' 11 carries 92 yards as not impressive, that's 8.36 YPC, he's one of the best backs in the league and definitely better than anything the Browns have.
I don't see how the Browns are better than the Chiefs, the defense is about equal, their QB RB WRs are better, the only thing the Browns have better than them is the offensive line(and the right side is brutal until Lauvao and Pashos get healthy). It's anyone's game next week, but hopefully the Browns win otherwise it's gonna look really bad when they lose two of the easier games on a tough schedule.

edit: one of his runs was for 56 yds. 11 carries for 92 yds minus 1 carry for 56 yds leaves him with 10 carries for 36 yds. that lone 56 yd run (added with the 10 carries for 36 yds) gave him the 8.4 ypc. but that doesn't tell the whole story of his performance. this is a perfect example of stats being deceptive. i wasn't necessarily singling out jamal's performance as unimpressive (this thread is about the chiefs as a team), i was saying the chiefs were not impressive as a team and jamal's stats were deceptive, which adds to my point.
also, i'm not sure how this turned into a browns/chiefs comparison. all i said was that i didn't know whether or not they'll beat the browns sunday. that's wasn't a prediction or anything like that.

The Chiefs offense as a whole wasn't impressing me. Charles surely did look to be a gamechanger, but Matt Cassel is holding that team back. The only reason KC won was because of their defense/the weather. You give Philip Rivers a dry ball and his receivers a field they're not slipping on, the Chargers win that game 9 times out of 10.
But, there's always that one time.. and the Chiefs took advantage of it.

If i were gonna place a bet on this game i would take KC..RAC is going to enact some righteous justice on this POS we call an OC...
Todd unlike eric wont make bad decisions and will have his troops battle hardened and ready and we will lose this one...
KC 23
Browns 6
