Where was the WildDawg, MoMass, Robiskie and Stuckey.

Robiskie was out with an injury. To my knowledge Carlton Mitchell didn't see action. We did toss a pass to Vickers and used Hillis' good hands. Cribbs looked like our best receiving option. I really don't have much faith in MoMass or Robiskie, I'm hoping someone else (such as Mitchell) steps up this season.
I really didn't care to see the Wilddawg agaist the Ravens. That would have been a great package against the Chiefs and Tampa, but not a veteran Defense such as the Ravens. I'm glad that we didn't go to that too often today.
Too bad we couldn't have done a bit more play-action with Hillis running so well, but I assume there were just not options to throw too. Very conservative game plan to make Seneca look decent.

So for the first time our offense plays well throughout the whole game this year against a top defense,
were still complaining?

Yes they played well.. but's not balanced enough IMO. Did we run any screens... did we run any slants? There are more plays to wideouts than just streaks down field. And at this level, you should be able to get open if you are a WR. I see guys being thrown to like a wes welker, Austin Collie that aren't lighting bolts, but there still throwinig the ball downfield to them. I swear, sometimes, I think some people only watch the Browns games and nothing else. I see the play calling of other teams, were not even close to the creativity level that we should be. We make excuses, but we saw the Pats win how many superbowls with a non "Superstar", yet they won games and superbowls. I just watched the Jets, drive down on the Dolphins and score. TE has 90+ yards already... What the hell. Sorry.. but I just don't see our guys, who I believe have the talent, playing to a level that they could be. And to me, the play calling is still suspect and if I was Holmgren, I would not be happy.
There is a saying when interpreting biblical scripture that says this.. "Scripture interprets scripture". When I view our team in light of other teams... We are a long way off, and IMO the coaches need to examine a few things.

After Mangini says.. We didn't go to the WildDawg enough in the previous game, we saw it a whole 2 times today. After Mangini's comment, I was hoping to see a little more creativity today. Granted, Hillis had his way with the Ravens today, and had a fantastic game. But you can't hang you hat on that the entire time.
Where are our Wideouts? I mean.. MoMass had one pass that I saw thrown to him. Cribbs caught a few and watson had the last TD pass... And where is Watson too.. He's got decent hands why aren't we throwing more to him..
Why aren't we throwing downfield. Is is really because the WR's are that bad.. or do we not have a QB who can throw it down field.. Where are the slants? Where are the crosses..
FWIW, Robiskie was inactive, and did you ever think we don't have anyone fast enough to stretch the field vertically?
Add in Wallace is an extremely mobile qb and there were numerous occasions he was running for his life (Delhomme would have been dead meat) where even if a guy was open deep, there was no time to get a WR the ball over the top?

Cribbs....? How many runbacks does he have... We saw him stretch the D last week.. and in another thread he called the stinking play.
We have the talent... Playcalling so suspect.

I believe this team is more talented than many think but man we are missing some key components namely WRs..momass and robiskie are busts and stuckey isnt crap either and yeah we need to have a bigger playsheet and a better playcaller for sure, but today it was ryan and or mangini letting wright take on boldin after being burned not once but twice and then 3rd the nail in the coffin..we had 2 better options and in the end that lost this game...
Mangini's gutless 4th and 2 call was dirt on the grave....if your gonna die, die with your boots on and taking charge of what you can control, not knelt down naked praying for the impossible...thinking the ratbirds would give the ball back...spineless over conservative gutless twit of a coach..
Anyway you want to slice it the fact is it will always come back to coaching and bad or dumb decisions and this staff makes to many bad decisions coupled with team execution problems and dumb penalties by the players is a wreched blend of football for fans...
lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose if its not one thing its 3..... but at least we are somewhat competitive and it can only get better as the competition intensifies...because somebody is going bye bye at the bye week..

I can't think that Robiskie is a bust... He was a great player at OSU. Hartline, is having a great game tonight against the Jets... Now tell me that Hartline is a better WR that Robiskie? Come on guys.. The talent level is there.. maybe our coaching isn't utilizing and calling the right plays.

Mitchell is our fastest WR so i dont see wasnt on the feild for one play...who knows maybe he could have broke the coverage and streached the feild like we needed

Mtichell was inactive vs KC with a head injury. The dirty, stupid, ugly, stinkin ratbirds are an excellent defense, very fast,
... I look for the pass offense to bounce back, well, at least when JD comes back.
Look THSE BROWNS ARE PLAYING WITH HUGE, HUGE INTENSITY. And they can really run the ball. And that is
with Lauvao out temporarily, first string qb hurt, cb Wright not into the game whatever?, Rogers banged up, Harrison banged up, MoMass
and Robieskie banged up....
#1 punter out for the year, Jackson was injured, etc etc etc... and all three losses were very close.
Apparently, Pashos filled in for St. Claire and did a far better job of pass protection. Things are really lookin up.

Robo isnt a bust trust me. He is going to be an amani toomer type and fantastic in the slot. all he needs is someone to draw the coverage.
