I came across this story that tells about the fact that former Browns/49ers QB Jeff Garcia is now playing with the Omaha team of the UFL. Also Daunte Culpepper is playing in that league now as well.

Question: has anyone seen any UFL games? Where on TV can you see them? I know it is essentially minor league ball, but it could be interesting to check it out if possible.

Versus shows 1 or 2 game a week. I just watch Vegas v. Florida last night. It's not the worst football you can watch. The good thing about it is that you'll see players and coaches you recognize.

Well, maybe it is a way for guys like that to rehabilitate themselves. I don't know if they would ever get a call back up to the NFL, but at least they are playing football, even if it is at a AAA level.

It'll be curious to watch and see if any UFL players ever get "called up" to the NFL. Seems to me NFL teams would be happy to develop a relationship with some "minor league" to give borderline or practice squad level players a chance to develop or maintain skills on the chance they need players at any point in the season.
