Here are some trivia questions on the Browns/Bengals rivalry etc.:

    1. What is the current head to head record in the Browns/Bengals history?

    2. Within .020 points either way, what was Paul Browns winning pct. (regular season) with the Bengals?

    3. In his 25 year coaching career how many times did Paul Brown coached teams come in First place? And how many with each team?

    4. Which Bengals former Head Coach (es) also played for The Bengals?

    5. Which former Bengals HC was drafted by the Browns?

    6. The Bengals have had 3 different players with the last name Johnson lead them in rushing in a season. Name them.

    7. What former teammate of Bernie Kosar's led the Bengals in receiving 3 different years?

    8. In respect to their time as an AFL member, what dubious record do the Bengals hold?

    9. The Browns and Bengals played the Final Game at Riverfront Stadium in 1999, but for that one year, Riverfront was not called Riverfront. What silly name was given to that stadium for that one year before it was torn down?

    10. Akili Smith's record as a starting NFL QB in his career was 3-14. Two of those wins came against the Browns. What was the only other team that Akili Smith defeated as a starting QB?

    11. Match the Bengals coaches with the college they attended.

    Coaches in alphabetical order:

    Bruce Coslet

    Forrest Gregg

    Bill Johnson

    Dick LeBeau

    David Shula

    Sam Wyche

    Colleges in alpabetical order:

    Dartmouth

    Furman

    Ohio St.

    Pacific

    SMU

    Texas A&M

    12. Who is the biggest asshole to come out of Cincinnati: Charles Keating, Nick Lachey, Charles Manson, Pete Rose, Jerry Springer, Sam Wyche, or my brother-in-law?

        Wild guess: 0.55?

        3. In his 25 year coaching career how many times did Paul Brown coached teams come in First place? And how many with each team?

Total - 12. Browns - 11; Bengals - 1 Had to edit, misthought this as winning seasons, not division leader.

        4. Which Bengals former Head Coach (es) also played for The Bengals?

        Sam Wyche

        5. Which former Bengals HC was drafted by the Browns?

        Don't know....

        6. The Bengals have had 3 different players with the last name Johnson lead them in rushing in a season. Name them.

Rudi and Pete I know. Can't think of the third.

        7. What former teammate of Bernie Kosar's led the Bengals in receiving 3 different years?

I assume you mean college team mate, that would have to be Eddie Brown of Miami

        8. In respect to their time as an AFL member, what dubious record do the Bengals hold?

        Worst W-L record?

        9. The Browns and Bengals played the Final Game at Riverfront Stadium in 1999, but for that one year, Riverfront was not called Riverfront. What silly name was given to that stadium for that one year before it was torn down

LNC You get a check on #1 though you didn't say which team led!

You also got half an answer on #4 (there was another Bengal HC aside from Wyche who played for them.

On #6 you are right on those 2, but there is another Johnson.

          Check on #7

#8 is more or less right, though a little more explanation will be required when I give the answer.

          #10 is right.

          Check on LeBeau

Total score: 4 right plus 1/2 plus 2/3 plus 1/6ths plus 12 is right for everyone.

Sorry on the first question, Browns, of course!

Hmm, on #4, would that other coach be Coslett? Only other one I can think of it might be be...

And I see I forgot to answer #9. That would be Cinergy Field. And in point of fact, it was called that for several years. Remember, the Reds continued to play there for another three years until they got their new stadium.

            Off season sucks.

Just a couple of notes on Question 8 and the site I linked you to: When it comes to a team's best and worst performances while a member of one of the constituent leagues , NFL, AFL, AAFC here are the best and worst records by existing franchises, regular season only:

AAFC: Browns had an .898 winning pct. for the highest AAFC record. 49ers has a .722 winning pct

AFL: Chiefs had a .639 winning pct. during their tenure as an AFL member. Bengals had a .268 winning pct.

NFL: The Dolphins have had a .606 winning pct. as a member of the NFL. (Broncos are second at .581)

The Texans in their short existance have the worst winning pct as a member of the NFL: .383 (Bucs are next worse at .392)
