Breaking News: Randy Moss Is Set To Go To Minnesota!!!

[slowburn]

Belichick doesn't put up with crybabies or any hint of selfishness. I think Moss sealed his fate earlier this season when he talked to the press about being underappreciated in New England.

True, and it's 10 years in the league to veto trade. Understood.

i guess that welker will now be exposed for what he truly is: a possession receiver and not a 1st team all-pro. it was ridiculous that he got that award.

With this trade and last years Seymore trade. The Pats have 2 picks in each of the 1st two rounds in 2011. That's how you stay on top. Gotta give them credit for pulling the trigger and not letting Moss leave at the end of the year and not get anything in return or letting him become a distraction.

Hmm just curious how a Third round pick in 2011 equates to extra draft picks in the first two rounds?

I'm pretty sure that everyone already knew that Welker is a possession receiver and a damn fine one at that. As far as not being AllPro, anybody that has 111+ reception 3 years in a row is unquestionably deserving of the honor.

The thought that I had all day today was that this is the difference between having a franchise qb and having a winning team and a losing team. Their have been numerous free agent wide receivers available this year that were worth the price paid for them that I would have liked to see in Cleveland. If we get a few more wins under our belts this year we will have a better shot at these free agents next year. Larry Fitzgerald will most likely either be traded after this year or be available as a free agent after the following year.

Hey i'm allowed to dream too!

Like Randy Moss would say he'd be alright with a trade to the Browns. He'd retire. I'm sure there was some sort of stipulation, also the Vikings are either going to have to sign him longer term or use him for the year and lose that 3rd round. It's not a overly cushy situation. The Patriots also have 2 picks in each of the first 4 rounds. *sigh*
