How about them Cowboys!!

you're the biggest asshole troll that comes to this board. who cares about the stats you just threw up. the topic of the thread is about the cowboys and how they suck against what was expected of them at the beginning of the season.
you know what REALLY sucks. assholes that grew up here (now in NY) whose favorite teams are either the cowboys or the steelers. WTF happened to rooting for your home team? i know what happened. when they were at an impressionable age they saw the teams that were winning and decided to root for them instead of rooting for their home team that was struggling. it's like the little punk who gets beat up all the time. instead of learning to fight and standing your ground they become the little bitch dog of the bully and side with them. pathetic.
Like the team you masterbate over the clowns, you are a bitch punk

make sure you make to your english 101 class..........oh you're probably home (trailer) schooled. if you're gonna lay some heat and want to play with the big boys make sure you know how to spell. 'lil dick weed.
I think he actually meant to say "masticate".
I masticate all the time over the Browns. My favorite things to masticate are chicken, ribs, steak, burgers. Things like that.

Does everyone really think Kitna is THAT bad. Dude he's done this several times in his career. Come in mid-season and kick ass. Watch, he takes them to the playoffs. That would be funny as hell.

i don't think kitna is that bad either. the problem is evryone picked these guys to make the big push to at least the nfc championship game because of all the talent they have. yeah they got talent.......on paper. the coach is a lifeless bum and the owner an egomaniac. hate the fact that they pronounced themselves 'america's team'. people all across the country jumped on their bandwagon back in the days of aikman and irvin. now they're looking for another team to root for ala the steelers' fans when tomlin finally sinks that ship.

Just to set things straight, I do not like the Cowgirls.
I'd like to make a side wager toxic. They will make the playoffs. Romo is soft and to be honest his teammates don't see him a a leader.

man a couple of more losses and they're doomed. if they make it to the playoffs i'll send you a couple bottles of local brew, a brooklyn lager and a new amsterdam ale. how's that sound? i take it you partake in tippin back a couple now and then, don't you?

as much as my fellow brownies might gasp, I can safely say I hate the Cowboys over any other team (yes, even the steelers). The only 3 people on that entire team I respect are witten, ware and marion barber. I think it might stem from the fact that they get the label of America's team which is complete bullshit. I also LOVE seeing Jerry Jones squirm. The fact he built his palace with the intent of the cowboys playing the super bowl there makes me laugh so much.
Not to mention, cowboys fans are always the loudest, most jackass, ignorant thug fans you run into.

Have you been to and Eagles game? They have a jail in the stadium. Enough said.
oh yea i've heard terrible things about eagles fans at the stadium itself. i'm talking about fans you run into at a bar or something like that. Most eagles fans are pretty chill, just a tad obnoxious. Nothing like cowboy fans though.

I'd only put the Steelers slightly ahead of the Scowboys, but ditto on everything else. "America's Team" is complete arrogance. Good to see the streak of no team ever hosting the Super Bowl in their home stadium is going to remain intact.
BTW, I would have taken the bet about the Cowboys not making the playoffs for a C note at least. It's the Hoorta's lead pipe lock of the year- and I've never lost an Internet wager yet. They blow the game against the Jags on Sunday and you can stick a fork in them- they're already about 1\2 baked. The Boys still have road games against Green Bay, the Giants, Colts, and Eagles, plus a home game with the Saints. They have to go 8-2 the rest of the way out to have a prayer. Three more losses and it's "esperar hasta el prรณximo aรฑo" - wait till next year, Jerry- you're really South America's team.

The Cowboys do have one saving grace- cute cheerleaders.

Me personally, I don't hate the Cowboys. I'm not exactly a fan, but I wouldn't say they are on my list of most hated teams. Between them and the Steelers though, I'll root for the Cowboys every time!

my girlfriend's nephews are twins. one is a steeler fan the other a cowboy fan. i asked them how it came about that having grown up in NY that they chose those teams to root for. both said it was because those were the teams that were winning all the time when they were growing up. total bandwagon fan base. wonder why they always say the beer i pour for them is kinda sour and has a wang to it!

Gee, who does that remind me of? The Queen. The Court Jester. I suppose they are also Yankee fans.

Gotta love them bandwagon fans!!!! Let's just see how many of these "so-called fans" fall off when these teams start taking a dive. Dallas is already in a tailspin. As many front runners that they have I don't see a lot of Cowboys fans in NE Ohio. With that being said, my philosophy has always been to remain loyal to my city's, and state's teams despite their records. Yeah, it's painful sometimes, but that is what being a fan is all about. Always hoping, and remaining optimistic. It's easy to root for someone that wins all of the time. It takes someone with thick skin to stick by your team during the bad times. Fortunately with the Browns there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. At least you and I say we've been there all along.

totally agree. unfortunately i'm the lone browns fan in this river town i live in (i could go into the city to a brown backer joint but hate the city) and all my friends are of the other ilk. out of my small circle of friends i know 4 are cowboys, 2 giants, 2 miami and 1 bengal fan. given that most people here in southern ny are giants and jets fans but to have the mix of fans in one little area (who happen to have all grown up in NY, except me of course) is astounding. bunch of chumps, but fun to watch football with.

I think I know the area that you are in. Would you by any chance be in Rockland County, like say Stony Point, or Haverstraw area? My wife and I have friends in that area that we met on our honeymoon 10 years ago, and stayed in touch ever since.

no other side of the river in westchester. the area is called the river towns (i guess to bump up the real estate taxes etc.). people move up here who want a little bit of suburbia and can still get on the train iand be in nyc in about half an hour. very over-populated and way too expensive in every aspect. our plan is to move back to ohio when we save enough scratch (not too far off now). -peace.
