whats the scoop on shaun lauvano

Shaun lauvano played well in preseason and then had an high ankle sprain. He has to be a better option than nilly yates. Anyone know why he is still not playing?

According to mangini's transcript yates had a more productive practice week than lauvano had and hence deserved/won the start...

I would love to see that guy in action. Being one of our touted draft picks of this year, when he was playing, he dominated. In the future he is gonna be one of the integral pieces of this offensive line that just keeps growing. Thomas, Steinbach, Mack, Lavao, and whoever is rotated in and out of the 5th. Our line is lookin good!

For one, Yates is not bad and it is not hard to see that he is able to hold off a rookie. I think Lauvano will eventaully begin starting before the season is over, but he is still getting back into the groove of things since being out.

Watch and see - this kid will come on like gangbusters either toward the end of this year or next year. I was really impressed with him early on.
