As the board's resident astronomer- let me explain- if atmospheric conditions are perfect (almost never) the last little peek of sun over the horizon (almost always over water) will for an instant turn green. I've never personally seen one. Even rarer, you can get a "blue flash" think about it- if you look at the spectrum what's opposite of red? Blue.
