I can't beleive peterbell is still on Mangini's nuts.. Barton, bowens, coleman are so old and slow. How un exciting would it be knowing these guys were gonna be on our team?

Still what concerns me about giving up so many d personal is that at the #6 pick its probally going to come down to Robert Quinn or Marcell Dareus and to me there both not that elite NFL player thats gonna come in sure they both displayed great athletism and raw Talent but Robert Quinn hasnt played in a full season and im a firm believer that Marvin Austin will have the better NFL Career, Marcell Dareus went from Roating and had 11 sacks to starting and had 2 sacks the whole season,many claim he gave up on alot of plays and wasnt there (Rodgers??) so yeah thats who will probaly need up getting just because will have to draft on need alone instead of BPA

I thought about that but his topic was a question of the roster move, not that the roster move had happened, so the formatting would have looked awkward to the average poster.

The Browns are NOT going to draft Fairley. They WILL draft a RT, probably third round, to take his place,
and be a superior improvement at the RT position.
FA should be pretty interesting. And, I still really like my mock draft, except that it's probably all wrong. @@

i'm not sure. i remember lavao playing pretty well before the injury, but mangini seemed hell bent on playing st clair. not sure why lol.
i can't remember how long lav was out, but if healthy he would've been a better option than matador st clair. see what the young guy has. let him learn and grow. no use in trying to teach an old st clair new tricks.

We currently have Robaire Smith (but he might be a FA that we won't resign, don't recall), Rubin, and a bunch of scrubs...
We just cut Coleman and Rogers...

I have thought that all along. The Browns front 7, except for a couple of guys really was not very good. Needless to say with 4 of the 6 guys shown the door being from the defensive front 7, the Browns are gonna need bodies.

Yes I pimped chucky for a while, but have moved on... Mangini was phil savage esc in handling the browns. The draft was horrible, except for alex mack. You would think with 3 second rd picks we would have some young talent...

Lets get a few things straight....
1st- Mangini was not totally responsible for who was on the field..I believe, on most NFL teams, the coordinators had that responsibility.. Thats the coordinators job not the head coach...
2nd- Last year Mangini did not select the players in the draft and free agency, it was Heckert..
We all have opinions about our former coach but lets get real.. Mangini was the head coach, the coordinators and the position coaches selected which player played and what plays were called...

If the browns had planned on keeping mangini they probably would have obtained some linemen to help his 3/4 defense.

Puyt Floyd Womack at RT. Re does a great job when he plays at Tackle and I think he is actually a better tackle than a guard.

Lauvao is listed as an OT
Listed as "OL" are:
Pork Chop Womack
Billy Yates
Steve Vallos
Phil Trautwein
Tony Pashos
Pat Murray
Mack is the only guy listed as a Center. I am not sure if these guys are interchangeable between RG and RT

Take Pashos out of the mix. The guy gets hurt after 2 games every year.

"sigh". Lauvao is a GUARD. He doesn't have the feet to play RT.
He is listed, on the Browns depth chart, as a GUARD.
BTW, we don't have anybody listed to play RT, and no backup for Joe Thomas in case he gets malaria or something.
My RT pick in the draft, can backup Joe Thomas on the left side, and lock up the RT spot.
If he's even there in the third round for the Browns to pick. I don't see anybody after him I like as much.

Stein would get mauled at RT. He isn't a drive blocker.

I hope they snag a big name free agent WR since they'll likely be going DE in the draft.
