If We Dont Land Peterson This Year?

  • If we dont land Peterson this year, how about adding one of the former Brown great Sons to play for us next year..Hes a First Round Projection for next year and looks like a stud.His name is Chase and plays CB for Virgina

    Heres some highlights in case you havent seen him play

    And hell why were at it we should grab Casey too..We might as well rebuild that 80s D with some of there bloodlines..

  • Next year's draft class has no once-in-a-decade prospects.

    I got man-crush on Cliff Harris though, dude's a straight beast.

    Next Years draft is going to be really deep with CBs theres about 5 if not more that will gin the first round, id also like to see Janoris Jenkins, Hadens former teammate they'd make a really nice tandem

    Well, if you don't like a guy's highlights, then he probably won't make the NFL lol.

    But seriously, there's no once-in-a-decade prospects next year. However, guys to look at are Cliff Harris, Stephen Gilmore, and my man Dre Kirkpatrick. Gilmore looks like he can be Amukamara 2.0 and Kirkpatrick is a man amongst boys when he's on his A-game, but that doesn't happen all too often.

    But none are on Peterson's level (maybe Kirkpatrick in terms of potential, but like I said, he's not a sure-thing the same way Peterson is).

  • Pull the trigger on Peterson this year, and if he is gone Chase looks good for next year. I really like how he looks in run support for such a short guy.

    Here is what i know..... Frank Minnifield is the best CB i've ever seen- and i've seen many play at the new stadium and old Municipal Stadium, for the Browns and the opposition. Frank was glue as a pass defender. Oftentimes, our opposition would not even attempt a pass his way. Frank was the best tackler on the team. i never saw an opposing ball carrier (RB or WR) break his tackle. He was a coach on the field, directing the coverage when new defenders entered the game.

    i haven't seen Chase play. But Frank was a HOF level player.

  • Sorry Roach ill redo the link because you may be able to see the similarties because i certainly do, the kid is amazing in run support as well..And hes not a big guy whats so ever..

    Dre Kirkpatrick has all the potential in the world but it seems there were entire games where he was no where to be found, and Cliff Harris hes a little raw and Man to Man but is extremely gifted and also a great returner..Gilmore i really like and think he could be a great Corner as well he just needs to add more big plays because he is great in Coverage just hasnt got alot of Interceptions yet thus far...I like Chase Minnifeild alot and hes great in run support, Janoris Jenkins is a great CB as well it all depends on his 40 i supposse people question his Speed..Same was said about Haden as well
