  • I think we're probably gonna get Bowers, most of the teams that pick ahead of us in the 2nd are 3-4 teams, although I think the Broncos might grab him.

    I'd be happy to get him and Williams the CB from Texas, or the best available WR. But I have a feeling we're not going to take any WRs because of Holmgren's belief that the previous coaching staff didn't "utlize them enough". I really feel like Massaquoi would be a much better player as a #2, he just doesn't seem like a #1 WR in any shape or form. If we had a true #1 WR, it would make our current WRs benefit so much more, Robo would benefit as the #3 a lot as well.

  • I don't care when it happens but we need to get a wr who can stretch the field.. robo and momass are so slow I could cover them..

    He is Montario Hardesty or Kris Jenkins... Potential... but it is a foregone conclusion that he will get injured more often than he will play.

  • Exactly.. best case scenario for bowers is he does what winslow does. Where he doesn't practice and plays on some sundays. With his big frame and postition he plays it won't work out..

    Bowers would be worth nothing higher than a 4th round pick, IMHO.

    I thought we sent the 70th pick to Kansas City when we moved up to get Taylor...?

    did well cept for the stupid 70 pick we didn't have...I gotta go buy a mega millions ticket.

  • nice b86b, Sheard and Little were both great picks, I was very impressed by both of them after watching video and reading about them. Honestly surprised they weren't picked higher than where they were, cause Little looked a lot more impressive than pretty much every WR taken past Green and Julio. Definitely has the highest ceiling out of any WR taken.
