You don't bother me one bit, I actually think you have a little potential and are way above the norm for Steeler intelligence, but you have quite a narcissistic view of yourself and all things Steelers if you ask me. The Steelers aren't all perfect. They've had good continuity in their ownership and front office over the years, hit on some stud players in the draft and basically avoided the major injury plague.
However, listening to you one would think this franchise is not even human and the Rooney's are next to Jesus Christ himself. Listen, Roid Monk Harrison is and has been an idiot. Stop pretending you have insider knowledge of the guy and the Steelers, cuz you don't. Frankly, I don't care about the comments and big gay ben, but how on the face of this earth can you make the statement "I wouldn't urinate on the guy to put him out" is taken out of context? I don't like a lot of people in this world, but I would NEVER make such a hateful statement. The only types that would are uneducated, disrespectful thugs who just have evil mentalities. Riff I'm really not here to start sh.it and never have been. I wouldn't come across as a narcissist if people would act like civilized human beings. I'm a sports fan just like the rest of you. I'm not a holier than thou elitist BUT if anything that exits mouth is always immediately met with line after line of childish rants and raves of course I'm going to take a different approach. As far as what I "spew" is concerned my primary Steeler board is full of league insiders. We have at least two professional scouts, several sports writers, one sports talk radio host and a few with actual Steeler ties. What I'm repeating is only what I'm reading on my primary board and hearing through the grape vine in Pittsburgh. It's not made up, it's not "what I want to happen" but what is happening. James Harrison also isn't any different than any number of professional athletes at the top of their game. They can and often do get in trouble for saying something off kilter, ESPECIALLY during a slow time like the offseason and even more so now with the lockout. I still stand by the fact that the entire situation was and is being blown way out of proportion. Ben and Mendenhall are both cool and Ryan Clark recently tweeted that they're all brothers and brothers fight.
I think you and I both know this isn't going to negatively effect the Steelers because the Rooney's and Mike Tomlin handle business. As far as the latte portion of your post is concerned the Steelers have missed the playoffs and there wasn't a fan implosion. Pittsburgh is a sports town in a small market. The sports teams are a huge part of the city of Pittsburgh and the Rooney's are a close to gods among men as anyone in this city. They do it right, all the time and until the city is shown otherwise that's the soap box we all stand on. Wouldn't you do the same? Out of context with Ben and Mendenhall. No one is arguing against what he said with Goodell because he does genuinely hate the commish. In my opinion for good reason. He's systematically changing the NFL each and every season and the changes aren't for the better. He's also targeting certain players and when he does bring fines/punishments down they aren't the same across the board for similar offenses. I'd love to hear what some of you say about your bosses behind closed doors or in "good" company. Especially if your "boss' was on a mission to target hard nosed play or in your case whatever it is you do in your particular field.

Kugler our o-line Coach was also a huge acquisition and in my opinion the most underrated hire in the entire NFL. He saved our o-line last year considering all the injuries. We have lost Aaron Smith for a extended period of time. Ben did miss games over the years and you are correct we haven't had it THAT bad because the Steelers draft well and have guys to step in if a injury does occur. I touched on that fact above. Bentley didn't even play for the Browns so you can't act like that was some sort of team loss. It just tied up a bunch of cash. Bad FO move.

FWIW< Dahmer met his demise in a prison weight room several years ago. An inmate turned his head into cole slaw with a 35 lb weight bar. Guess you could say what goes around comes around.
