better get some wideouts

better get some wideouts
better get some wideouts
Linebackers and D-tackles maybe?!?!
Id rather address depth at those positions than sign more wideouts
At this point I highly doubt we're signing anybody that's going to greatly improve the talent on this team. I think we will and should be adding to depth so Taylor and sheard don't have to play 80% of the snaps this year

no no. not more WRs...just better ones.
nobody thinks the WRs the browns have are any good and it doesnt help a sophomore QB to not have anybody worth throwing to

I think we can all agree we're not in superbowl contention this year, so why not stick with what we have so we can truly evaluate the talent that we have at that position? Good wideouts are not a young qb's best friend. A good offensive line, strong running game, and a big receiving right end are.
Pick up a starting right tackle, depth d end, #2/#3 corner, and a backup strongside linebacker and I think we're setting ourselves up perfectly for next year

Well said. I couldn't agree more.

I only see maybe one or two probowlers in that list.

Joke?!?!
Thomas- pro bowl every season he's been in the league.
Mack- reserve pro bowl in his second season, should be first team with a more capable right guard beside him
Hillis- should be borderline pro bowler with a more effective passing game this season keeping the safeties out of the box
Haden- I see multiple pro bowls in his future, dudes a stud
Ward- does anybody else see Brian Dawkins in this kid? Minimum 2-3 pro bowls in his future.
Rubin, taylor, sheard, all guys with enough potential to get there as well
Not to mention jackson leading the league in tackles 3 years ago. Full season with 4 d-linemen in front of him and he could be a beast as well.
This team has pro bowl talent, and with heckerts eye for talent there will be plenty more on the way.
The future just keeps getting brighter and brighter

I disagree. The Browns are one of 32 NFL teams, thus they are in contention. Until they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, they are in the running.
Fair to say?
