I can see us drafting a DE in the first round in my crystal ball.... SUSPENDED ? That's stupid.

    ****************************************

Marcus Benard - DL - Browns Browns DE Marcus Benard is being charged with driving under a suspended license and reckless operation stemming from his Monday motorcycle accident.

Benard suffered a broken hand and was in stable condition Monday night. The rotational rusher and special teamer is unlikely to face league discipline as it's his first known brush with the law.

Stupid kid on a stupid bike. Surely not riding motorcycles, or derivatives thereof, should be written into their contracts? I know he's just a kid in his 20s and we all did dumb stuff at that age but surely that's why teams need to prohibit such "hobbies" to save our investments and their lives / livelihood? I know that in the soccer world here, in contracts are no bikes, no skiing, no bungy jumping etc etc 🙂 I don't blame the kid really, he was just being his age but if it was a contractual commitment maybe it would not have happened.

But it isn't just riding a motorcycle. He could have been cut off or something....

or maybe weaving in and out around cars like a moron....

but driving at all, with a suspended license, that is what really makes him stupid.

Those things are written into their contracts (especially after the K2 incident)....and trust me, just because it is written into the contract does NOT mean it won't happen. I mean, certain things are against the law and they still happen, why should a contractual commitment stop them.

True, but the contract isn't there to guarantee their compliance with it. It's there to protect the team's rights in case he does do it.

              <<Stupid kid on a stupid bike.>>

As opposed to a smart bike? What would that be?

<<Surely not riding motorcycles, or derivatives thereof, should be written into their contracts?>>

Then by your flawed logic, so should it be prohibited to drive in a car as the odds of injury and accident are extremely higher.

<<I know he's just a kid in his 20s and we all did dumb stuff>>

Breaking the law is dumb. Riding a motorcycle is a wonderful enjoyable experience. That is, if you aren't a sissy.

<<at that age but surely that's why teams need to prohibit such "hobbies" to save our investments and their lives / livelihood?>>

Aha, so now it comes out. You voted for Obama. Look dude, this is America. Emplyers don't have any business telling a person what they can and can't do on their free time. Now, some contracts do stipulate such thigns, and some players are dumb enough not to know that these things are unconstitutional, but none the less, this is America. If the guy wants to ride a motorcycle it is his right, his freedom and his business to do so.

<<I know that in the soccer world here, in contracts are no bikes, no skiing, no bungy jumping etc etc 🙂>>

The soccer world is a faggot world. It's gay. Kid's who don't have the stomach for football play soccer. Dull, boring, and feminine. Soccer is feminine. The people who play soccer are not the type to ride motorcycles, bungee jump or engage in thrilling activities anyway so of course they would sign such a wuss contract. Can you imagine these sissy soccer players riding a Harley? BWAAAAAAA MUAAAAHHHH HAAAA HAAAA HEEEE HOOOOOOOO..........

Hey, I bet soccer contracts even specify how tight the players pantyhose are allowed to be. The good news is, Soccer players ARE ALLOWED to drive a Vespa and the bumper boats at the amusement park.

<<I don't blame the kid really, he was just being his age>>

Yeah, well I am about to ride a Road King all up through Vegas, Red Rock, Oatman Az, and out to LA and back. I'm being my age too. 56. God, dude, you sound boring. For sure afraid to live life.

Get a clue, Have some Jack, get laid and go see the world.

<<but if it was a contractual commitment maybe it would not have happened.>>

If the kid was a weak, liberal pussy, or a feminine soccer player, then yes, perhaps it wouldn't have happened. In this guys case, he is a man, one with testicles and a sense of individuality. If you are idiotic enough to think that a man is going to obey the stipulations of his contract that keep him from LIVING.......... then you are a complete moron.

Here is a nice, soft, unoffensive soccer ball. Put on your pantyhose and go play nice in the yard.

You are what is wrong with the world.

Nobody gives a xxxx about your faggy Road King. You can slap on your leather vest and ass-less chaps ride it straight into Roethlisberger's rape dungeon for all we care. You aren't under contract and in the middle of a season.

Some things you shouldn't do during the season. If you don't agree with that, it doesn't matter. It's fact. Employers have a right to sanction the things their employees do to their bodies when their bodies are the reason they are employed. It's not like he's an insurance agent, or a xxxxing computer programmer. He's being paid because of his physical skills, therefore his employers have every right in the world to sanction what he does to or with his body.

Calling Howie out on his logic was a bad call. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, it's 26 times more likely for a fatal accident to happen on a motorcycle than in a car. The studies I'm sure you are not referring to, because it's blatantly obvious you do no research before posting, that claim it's more likely to be injured driving a car have been proven to be flawed time and time again. Fact of the matter is, it's only more likely to be injured driving a car (a term I use loosely, car can be any type of covered vehicle. Van, truck, SUV, etc.) because cars are driven much more than motorcycles.

FWIW, nothing about riding a motorcycle is "manly". It's operating a vehicle, just like any other person on the road. As a matter of fact, with all the leather pants, fingerless gloves, androgynous boots, ponytails and sunglasses with padding on them, I'd say it's inherently un-manly. If that's "living life" to you, I feel sorry for you.

Now, by all means, crack open a nice cold Budweiser and throw some more non-sequiturs at me. It's gonna be kind of hard, I understand, with the one hand beating your wife and the other jerking off to Toby Keith. I'll wait.

P.S.- Soccer still rules the world, you ignorant dickhole. It will for a long time to come.

I'm awesome, and I fuck dolphins. Ghoolie 12/2/2012: I have absolutely no skills, training or pride

True, but the contract isn't there to guarantee their compliance with it. It's there to protect the team's rights in case he does do it.

For Ghoolie to call Howie out about soccer just because Howie is from England is the complete height of ignorance. If anyone has ever read Howie posts or talked to Howie they would know that Howie hates soccer as being a sport full of preening pansies.

But this is pretty typical of today's neo-con fags. They make assumptions about people simply because of where they are from or what they look like.
