Cleveland Browns--Same Since 1999

What will it take for this team to MENTALLY get over being a losing franchise?
I don't even want to talk about individual players who aren't performing or which side of the ball that isn't performing, because frankly the WHOLE G-Damn team is underachieving and playing like a team composed of ALL castaways from others teams.
Colt is gone after this season. Draft a QB number one.
Hardesty is still dropping passes, I've never seen a worse catching RB IN MY LIFE.
Hillis is obviously NOT who we thought he was.
Where's our Redzone offense? Oh yeah, last in the league. Where's our deep passes? Oh yeah Last in the league. Where's our running? 3rd last in the league.
Where are our 2 rookie D-linemen? Sheard had one good play today--his first in the last three games it feels like. Number 98 fatboy is a disappearing act and is turning into Gerrard Warren's twin. Run defense sucks.
Linebackers are clueless....
I mean I can keep going until I've exhausted ever damn position on the field.
The problem is, a guy gets good in "our" eyes, like a D'Qwell Jackson, or an Evan Moore, but he just becomes the Best guy on the BROWNS, they would not even be starting for other great teams.
I'm sorry, it's not time to gut the team, but we need a new QB and some playmakers at WR and LB. And I didn't even mention the O-line, yet.
This team is absolutely clueless, and it starts with the coach.
Im sorry to say, but we legitimately have a shot at choosing Luck No. 1 next year. I don't see a team we can beat right now.
HOW THE HELL CAN YOU BE EXACTLY THE SAME AS YOU ENTERED THE LEAGUE AS AN EXPANSION TEAM 12 YEARS AGO?
Ultimate Fail.

The browns as we know them are the worst team in history. We've never had a good season passable ones in 2002 and 2007. The texans are way newer than us and look at them. Something beyond the players control makes the team suck like no other.

Wow. 1999. I was just about to graduate HIGH SCHOOL. This team has an invisible barrier to get to the next level. Most teams can turn it around within 3-5 years. We have taken 4 times as long...and don't kid yourself, we are 3 years away AT THE MINIMUM to reaching the playoffs, it may be another 5..
This baffles me beyond description as to why and how this team can't get over the hump. Why isn't Lerner pouring millions of dollars into the investigation and remedy for our pathetic team? And the walrus isn't the answer apparently, so who can we find BETTER to replace him? This shit is going to cycle around for the next 10-15 years I think.

Looking at Cincinnati's rookie QB, he hasn't quite the skills of a great QB; but he does have a quality about him in that he naturally wants to win.
I wonder if Cleveland's team just takes that out of people? I think back to Couch and it seemed like he never really had a chance with the line being as bad as it was.
I look at the line now and wonder, will anybody ever have a chance here? If not, maybe the answer isn't a high draft pick, maybe it's aquiring someone who's already been in the league a few years.
But... this recieving core is bad, the running game without Hillis is not existent and this staff is mentally challenged. So...

We will not be a sucessful franchise until the revolving door stops. Can't keep tearing it all down every two years and expect to win.
