The Aura Is Back! The Drug Of Defeat Has Darkened Our Doorsteps Once Again

Lost, hopeless, dejected, no self-confidence, expecting to lose, self-defeated, depressed, gave up, reverting to old Browns, and the feeling of rendering themselves useless and powerless to stop the opposing team from scoring and/or to score themselves.
This is what I "feel" the team was "feeling" while playing Sunday.
Losing is contagious, and it's as if it is a powerful drug to the Cleveland Browns. One "sniff" of losing today and we felt the familiarity of years past. Yes, we know it's bad, but it feels so... right.
Winning is too different.
The expectations for this year was too much.
The sensation too unfamiliar.
No, this is what we are used to.
THIS is home.
As we give up trying to breathe and keep our heads above water, the waves overtake us. The Drug of Defeat coursing through our veins numbs us from consciously realizing what's happening. We go under.
Then.
What's left of our air exits our depleted lungs and bubbles from our nose as we descend to the cold, frigid depths where once again we can be at ease--away from that awful, frightful sensation of winning.

Early on this season people were crying about how we give this team a chance before we say they suck. I remember reading, this is a new year, the guys are playing with excitement, this time it's different... blah blah bs.

I expected this...these girls in Cleveland expected the browns to go to the Superbowl this year. If this team went 12-4 these bitches would still find something to be unhappy about. The browns are doing pretty much as I expected.

Yawn... Weakest schedule- if you want to go by last year. If the Playoffs started next Sunday, Two of the three teams we lost to would be IN the Playoffs, and Oakland loses out on a tiebreaker to the Bills.
