  • If the Playoffs started today the following teams would be in:

    AFC Division winners:

    East: Patriots

    North: Ravens

    South: Titans

    West: Chargers

Wildcards: Bengals and Bills 4-2 ( by better conference record over the Steelers and Raiders who are also 4-2)

    NFC Division winners:

    East: Giants

    North: Packers

    South: Buccaneers

    West: 49ers

    Wildcards: Lions and Saints

  • Point differentials. The top 5 plus point differential teams are:

    Packers +83

    Ravens +77

    49ers +70

    Lions +64

    Pats +50

    Worse point differential teams:

    Rams -88

    Chiefs -73

    Jags -60

    Colts -59

    Dolphins -53

Interesting note: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a 4-2 record, yet are -32 in point differential.

  • Premium games this week:

Atlanta vs. Detroit A loss by the Dirty Birds could derail what they thought might be a run to the Super Bowl.

Houston vs. Tennessee For supremacy in the AFC South

San Diego vs. Jets Two historical underachievers vying to decide who is the least underachieving.

Browns vs. Seahawks. Matchup of 2-3 teams. I believe a win is essential for any playoff hopes the Browns could possibly harbor. (same goes for Seattle) Historically, the Seahawks for some reason have had the Browns number.

Yes, the Seahawks have had our number for sure. We have to win this game, gain some sort of confidence.

Yes, the Browns are 5-11 all time against the Seacocks. (Oops, I think I let one of my trivia questions out of the bag).

    Lol...

I think we've only beaten the Seahawks twice in Cleveland. Bad memories: Jacob Green intercepting a screen pass for a long TD, Kelly Stouffer beating us here, Clay Matthews breaking his leg in the Kingdome....freaking Todd Philcox taking over for Kosar....ugggggggggggg

On a happy note, one of my favorite memories of the "new Browns" is the game in 2007 when we won 33-30. The stadium was completely electric that day.
