  • hes the best player and he got hurt. then he got sick

is that really so impossible? its just typical browns fans

you guys love the players before they play, then you guys destroy them when theres any shred of evidence they might be unhappy with their situation in cleveland. he wont be back and you guys can thank yourselves for that.

you'll probly be better next year with a rookie QB and no hillis....NOT

  • You haven't seen me post much on this subject as I refuse to argue with idiotic comments, but the bad mouthing of Hillis by some of these folks is unbelievable. Clearly, he is by far our best back when healthy. We Fans need to let this young man know we WANT & NEED him here. There is an old saying that "A friend in need is a friend indeed". This young man seems to be down right now & needs our support, NOT our criticizing his every move & statement! You can bet he knows of all the ongoing negative crap!

While contract discussions/negotiations can frequently get heated, I trust Holmgren & Co to be fair. I would like to think that Hillis' decision whether or not to remain a Brown will not be influenced by a perception that the Fans have turned against him. We have a real playmaker in Hillis & I, for one, hope he DOES choose to stay here.

  • actually who gives a flying FXXK?? as jimmy johnson once said: you can pick up a guy at the local circle k who can start at RB and last as long as 80% of these guys.

anyone who says you can't play because of strept throat is a flaming fag. even kerry collins played with something BROKEN.

  • He sat out because his agent told him to. He wants the big bucks after one decent season. The Browns don't need prima donnas like that on their team.

It's refreshing to see that not everyone buys into the media hype..

  • Funny, with everyone logic we should just assume that anyone who is injured must be faking it for selfish reasons. I guess when Ward and Young missed over half of the preseason with hamstrings they were really just being lazy. xxxxing ridiculous.

  • Ooo...preseason. that realty matters.

Ooo whats your point. An injury is an injury, the only reason you think he is faking is because of stupid media bullshit that was made specifically to create drama.

  • I for one have never been a huge Hillis fan, but I hope he gets his shit strait this week for the niners. Do we need Hills sure we do...Is he a good player yes he is, is he a great player no he is not...

Peyton Hillis scored 23 TDs in the SEC, was drafted in the seventh round and worked his way up to starting fullback as a rookie, beat out the presumed starter in Cleveland last year and totalled over 1650 yards and 13 Tds in one season as a starter. He played every meaningless game down the stretch with mounting injuries. He is 6'1 253 lbs, he can bench press your fat wife and her mother. He can leap over NFL players. He can pull a truck up a hill with a rope. He can run over NFL linemen. He averages 4.4 yards per carry in the toughest league in the world

This is why people have so much problem with Hillis this yr, that is what Hillis was last yr..Where is that Hillis this yr???

  • I am a fan of the colors Brown and Orange.

I am a fan of anyone who can make those colors win.

Right now, Hillis is not helping to make them win.

I hope he gets back to last year's form, but if not... NEXT!!! Like was said before, RBs are a dime a dozen. You can make an exception for about 3 or 4, but the rest of the 28 in this league are replaceable.
