  • Browns D is vicious.. If the offense wakes up you guys can be very scary.. Good game and good luck with the rest of the season..

    Our D played well and kept us in the game in the second half but they put us in a hole in the first half.

    It looked like a high school defense out there in the 1st Q.

    I disagree. McCoy fumbling the ball to start the game put us in a hole. Our defense keeps improving and Jauron has shown that he can make adjustments. Our offense is a different story..

  • I don't get to see the browns play much, bur Rubin might be the best kept secret in the NFL. He is like a rock in the middle of the field. With taylor and jackson the browns are solid up the middle, especially against the run.

    It might not have seemed like it, but the browns did a pretty good job of containing justin smith. The running game wasn't working for teh browns, but that is more a product of the 9ers having a stout run d.

    The halftine defensive adjustments were on point. This was the most meat and potatoes game plan I have seen from the 9ers this year, the running game had variety as usual, but the passing game was basically slant, slant, streak.

    I have to admit, you guys made it stressful in the second half. Your D just needs to pick it up in the first half from now on and you guys might win more. Your run D picked it up in the second half, luckily Gore had over 100 yards in the first half so he was able to still become the 2nd all-time leading rusher in Niners history.

    Better game than I thought it would be, but my Niners didn't disappoint.

    Well we gift wrapped your first TD (Browns OL is a big concern), and did a very poor job of containing Gore in the first half- Ward over ran a couple of plays.

    RE: Rubin- the guy was a Godsend as a low round pick- how often do you see a DT may a play 20 yards downfield?

    You have a very good team- be thankful you don't play in the AFC North.

    Regarding Gore- he's good no doubt- but in the big scheme of the NFL- you have to pass 10,000 yards career anymore to get some serious love.

    Good Game.

    To be honest, it looked ALOT like the Niner Bucs game early on. I was pretty annoyed because I thought Gore got in on that 4th down play (Should have been 24-3 at the half), but that stuff happens in every game.

    I hadn't seen much of the Browns this year, but I think they really have some pieces. I really like Haden.

    The game did kinda go the way I expected tho. You guys saw what we in SF have been seeing all year in the first half. Great D and special teams giving the 49ers short fields. Thats one of the big reasons that they don't have a ton of yardage....field position. Its also why going into the game the had the fewest yards per point in the entire NFL. As you saw tho later in the first half, they have the ability to move great distances in a short time. They are still figuring it all out tho so they do something stupid 2 or 3 times a game.

    In the second half, the Niners came out REALLY flat, but the Browns and Jauron made some good adjustments and really shut the Niners down. I give them full credit for that. Thats a good D.

    McCoy. Hrmmm....I see the good and I see the bad. He seems to get happy feet when pressured. I dunno with him. Maybe he'll develop.

    Good Luck on the rest of the season. I'd like nothing better than to see Baltimore and Pittsburg lose....can't stand 'em. 😉

  • Ray Lewis always said, if you hold a team to 21 points or less, you should win the game. Browns held us to 20.

    Inept is one word (offense), and imo it shouldn't be too hard to fix. Make sure that you do, because cheering for the Browns in the playoffs would make my day. 🙂
