Anyone Notice How Well The O-Line Played Today And Colt's Confindence Because Of It?

  • I have been pretty hard on the o-line, it's well-documented. But yesterday they showed me some improvement. And I also noticed a correlation between their play and how Colt confidently stood in the pocket and fired strikes around the field--especially on the long bomb to Little.

Go back and watch the game again if you hadn't noticed it.

I pray this is what's to come from our young O-line. But it could just be because we played a shi# team.

  • And still, Colt had nobody to pass to, and nobody to hand off to...yeah, that sucked...

  • Not 100% sure it was b/c of the O line.

Rams have a very weak secondary due to injuries so there was alot less blitzing than we are used to.

  • I noticed colt went to the shotgun more often with a somewhat better result against the rams weak secondary, but other than that all i seen was a guy that had a bit more time than usual yet chose to dump it off in a hurry...

Its obvious that colt does not have the fast weapons to gain separation in order to hit the fast timing patterns with low risk and gain yards..

However i also see a QB that when he does have the time he often either dumps the ball off to fast or gets happy feet and rolls right and the defenders know where he is going at that point.....

I dont think colt is the guy but maybe its just the WRs or this Retarded regime and their newbie coach..

But more than likely it is all the above and no heads will roll at the end of the year but shurmur will get an OC when in fact he is to offensively stupid to be a successful OC himself let alone a head coach..

Its just the way it is when you have an idiot as the club owner..

  • gips nailed it....he's still got ghosts in his head. looked better, but dont let a poor rams team give you the idea this offense got any better in a week. no TD's, 12 points ont he worst D in the league.
