  • Thats just it. It's always a gamble. They all look good coming out of college. Remember there was a debate between Manning and Leaf. So really you never know. I just realized the other day that Favre and Marinovich both came out in the same draft.

  • getting Offensive talent is mroe important then getting a good QB, in the Browns case. Lets worry about QB in 2013. If we trade down we can fill in 4+ holes which are at LB, CB, DE, WR, RB, RT

I don't want to trade down, but I do agree that we go for LBs, WRs, DBs etc. The Browns should be able to get 3 immediate starters with their first 3 picks.

  • At this point, based on how things fall, the Browns could actually be drafting as high as 4th with their own pick and 22d to 25th with their second pick. Here is the current draft order with today's standings:

    1. Colts

    2. Vikings

    3. Rams (could tie Vikes with loss tonight)

4 through 9: Browns, Panthers, Redskins, Jags, Dolphins, Buccaneers

    10-13: Bills, Chiefs, Eagles, Seahawks

    14-15: Cardinals, Chargers

16-21: Bengals, Titans, Raiders, Giants, Cowboys, Bears

22-25: Falcons (Browns pick), Lions, Broncos, Jets

26-31: 49ers, Saints, Texans, Ravens, Steelers, Patriots.

    32. Packers

"You all". I thought you were one of us Rich?

  • They we can grab a really good Right Tackle with a first pick and the best right Guard with the second...Then we could have ALL FIVE STARTERS BE FIRST ROUND PICKS.....yea baby!!!!

I've seen RG3 in the nfl already, his name was Kordell Stewert.

Plz don't compare to Vick or Newton either.

Or Andre Ware, or Eric Crouch or Pat White or Dennis Dixon or David Klingler or Danny Wuerffel or Vince Young or Tavaris Jackson or Quincy Carter or Akili Smith or Troy Smith or Chris Weinke or Jason White or Charlie Ward.

On the other hand, is it possible he could be a Steve McNair or Brett Favre or Donovan McNabb or Josh Freeman or Mike Vick or Cam Newton?

    McNair possibly... but no thanks.

Blackmon Minnifield first round picks if they are there, OL LB the entire rest of the draft if we want the most improvement based on the last 2-3 seasons i think you need to address these first.... As for QB man o man it is a pickle but if we can't focus on colts strengths to fit the WCO than we have to cut em loose, but when to deal with it is up in the air.

  • Isnt there any FA QB with good accuracy and an average arm ?

Yea, how about Drew Brees? He's a FA. He will likely go back to the Saints of course.

Otherwise you have: Jason Campbell, Matt Flynn, Kyle Orton

  • Here are a few other potential FAs that could be available to the Browns at areas of need:

Wide Receivers: Dwayne Bowe KC, DeSean Jackson Phil., Wes Welker NE, Mike Wallace Pitt. (restricted)

OGs: Carl Nicks NO, Ben Grubs Balt.

DEs: Robert Mathis Indy, Mario Williams HOU, Cliff Avril Lions, John Abrahams ATL

CB: Cortland Finnegan TN, Bret Grimes ATL

    S: LaRon Landry Wash.

  • I think I am wanting Richardson or RGIII more and more with our first pick. Second pick like Michael Floyd if still there, and then with our second rounder grab a RT.

  • 1-Quinton Coples DE North Carolina

    1-Vontaze Burflict ILB Arizona State

    2-Kendal Wright WR Baylor

    3-Matt Reynolds OT BYU

    4-Leonard Johnson CB Iowa State

    4-Brandon Weeden QB Oklahoma State

    5-Marquis Maze WR Alabama

    6-Jeff Demps RB Florida

    7-DeMario Davis OLB Arkansas State
