    Beanpot's League

The Average Joe's got MVP performances out of Calvin Johnson (35) and Roddy White (31). Unfortunately, the rest of the team barely showed up. Eli Manning (-1) spent the game on the bus while LeGarrette Blount (1) and Mason Crosby (2) at least made it to the sidelines. Beanpot had his team in typical playoff form, getting consistent performances all around. LeSean McCoy (24) set the pace for Beanpot's 99-95 victory.

Werewolves of Linden, who finished the season at 10-3-1, faced Dot the I with a record of 8-6-0. The Werewolves might have been looking past this opponent with the expectation of facing Beanpot in the final. It never pays to relax too soon. Drew Brees (36) showed his leadership skills and drove Dot to victory, 108-86 over the Werewolves.

Beanpot will face Dot the I for the championship.

Werewolves of Linden will compete against the Average Joe's for third place.

    In the consolation round:

Even thought the Consolation round seems to be universally disliked, it seems to be a permanent feature of Yahoo fantasy football. So here's the good/bad news:

TexChainsaw Massaquoi gave it their best shot but came up short 64-67 against The Usual Suspects. The Ballantyne Buckeyes topped the Redneck Roosters 82-79.

The Usual Suspects will face the Ballantyne Buckeye in the battle for 5th place.

Tex will fight it out with the Roosters for 7th.

    Oreo's Hangout:

Had the Ravens' Defense (-1) delivered the expected 10 points, the outcome of this matchup would have been very interesting. As it is, Lambdo's Air Show pulled off the upset 107-97.

Gocong or Go Home is not quite headed home yet but isn't headed for a championship either. Gocong lost to The Hammer 94-119.

The Championship will go to either Lambdo's Air Show or The Hammer.

Dirty Hands or Gocong will fight it out for third place.

DD's overdid it with the help of Calvin Johnson (35) and Seattle's defense (30) smacking down Beanpot 124-89.

Choo Choo's doused Kentucky Barn Burner 75-51.

DD's and Choo Choo's will fight it out and duke it out for fifth place.

Beanpot and Kentucky Barn Burner will play for 7th.

    The Heidi Report

Week 15 and the first round of playoffs went pretty much as expected with the shocking loss of Cleveland Steamers to fatherof3. Steamers fell to fatherof3 80-100.

This week's Biggest Blowout award goes to the game between Football is back and Brownies with the loss going to Brownies and a point difference of +64 points. Final score: Football is back-125, Brownies- 61.

The Korky Butcheks went down swinging against RunninUover to take the loss and earn this game the Squeaker Award for a 13 point difference.

Final score: RunninUover-93, The Korky Butcheks-80.

    Ballantyne Bruisers devastated My Helmet's 2Tight with a win of Ballantyne Bruisers- 132, My Helmet's 2Tight 103.

The final round of playoffs and the run at the whole enchilada will be:

For the championship: fatherof3 vs. Ballantyne Bruisers

For 3rd place: Cleveland Steamers vs. My Helmet's 2Tight.

The winners will be celebrating with egg nog while the losers are delegated to cleaning up reindeer droppings and whatever mess the elves leave after a drunken end of season binder. And the last place team must give a full on juicy kiss to the champion under the mistletoe .

    The Great Zomboni

In League Four, the two best teams all year will play for the Championship in an exciting matchup. Unlike the BCS, our system works!

In the Championship bracket, #1 Seed Texas Chainsaw Massaquoi scored a Viagra-licious 127 in taking out a very game #4 Polk High 127-111. Drew Brees unloaded for 36 points to secure their championship spot.

#2 Seed Team Inglewood jack hit the century mark as well, ousting the #3 Flea Flickers 101-72 as Matthew Stafford racked up 29.

It’ll be the 12-3 Massaquoi vs. the 11-4 Jack for all of the marbles this week!

The consolation bracket held to chalk as well as # 5 Burning River torched Bermie’s KY Hicks 93-61 and the Big Bad Dogs took a bite out of Zombo’s Real McCoys 93-65.

We are expecting great TV ratings for that battle for the #7 slot between the Sadsack McCoys and the Mediocre Hicks.

The way this works is that someone from each league writes the report for that group of teams. The reports are sent to me and I put them together. This year we've all been busier than usual so there have been some gaps but as I've said before, you get what you pay for. When there's been some smack talk between teams and/or comments from readers the job is a little more interesting and fun. This year there's been a lot of dead space. I can only assume everyone else has been as busy as I. I've got to thank Heidi and John who have done a great job and have tolerated my lapses with understanding and good cheer.

Merry Christmas to all and let's hope next year is a little less stressful for everyone. If we're good boys and girls, maybe Santa will bring us a newly improved football team.

    Happy Holidays, everyone.

The fantasy football is just plain fun.

Now, Bowl Mania is even more fun.

And, I promise never to whine about not drafting first again.

It sucked. I got a great qb, and the rbs were a whole lot gone, along with some top wideouts.

Ah, lesson learned. Thanks for all the write ups, they were fun to read.
