This Time Of Year

Whenever it gets this time of year and you know that teams like the Packers/Patriots/Bears/Browns/Bills are in the playoffs or are hosting home games, one's mind always goes to the question of the weather conditions. Here is a link to the 5 coldest games ever played:

Included in these top 5 coldest games are, of course, The Ice Bowl at #1, the game in 1982 in Cincy between the Bengals and Chargers, and the Red Right 88 game on the shores of Lake Erie. The Chiefs and Colts also played a below zero game back in 1996. Also, no surprise there was a Vikings game back in 1972 at the old Met. Of course they along with the Lions and Colts have moved indoors, so there won't be any outside games played in those locales. The proposed Viking stadium will likely have a roof.
