I had a dream last night that I was at the game and only 3 of our players even bothered suiting up. Some of the players had Cleveland Browns T-shirts on and the rest were just playing in old t-shirts and jeans... I also got to tell Shurmer how awful I think he is. It was quite a strange dream.

Wallace, is terrible 5+ years playing under the WCO and this is what we get? Colt 1 year under the WCO and he is already head and shoulders above him...i'm hoping this is the last year we see the worthless punk...hopefully, they pull Ben and by some miracle our offense line actually has a good game and opens up some big holes.

        Maybe just maybe!

Nah, the stoolers can pretty much score at will on this team when they really need to...😉

Wallace has played better than McCoy did. Sheard is the real deal and he just surpassed my estimate on how many sacks he would have this season. Currently sitting at 8.5 and I said he would have at most 8. When you factor in his 5 FF he has far exceeded my expectations.

          Ruining threads since 1897.

Wallace has played better than McCoy?! Have you noticed all the picks he throws on out routes? It's because he throws an out route every other play.. He is too predictable. He is not as good as McCoy nor does he have any potential.

I would never let Wallace be on the roster after seeing his play in this game. Total waste.

Wallace is currently a better fit to shitsmear's offense than colt, ive seen enough of colt to realize the pro game may currently be to fast for the kid making him more a backup or long term project rather than a true starter, he lacks much..

Holmgren had it right to begin with when he wanted colt to sit and study the game, colt earned the chance to start this season and is a tuff kid but i would be surprised and would also expect nothing offensively to improve if he wins the starting job next year..

I am not knocking colt, i really like the kid he has a lot of heart im just calling it the way i see it..

Yup... And he's been a Holmgren fav for quite a while now...

During his long (and very nice) run down to the 2, I had a epiphany... RGIII is a faster stronger version of Seneca...

Then I immediately threw up in my mouth... vomit-smiley-020.gif

And this guy will be playing at RT,.... I think. At least he is the backup RT as listed on the depth chart on yahoo sports.

Should be interesting. The Browns will kick squeeler arse, plain and simple.

                    1. Cousins, a native Jamaican, signed with UTEP as a defensive tackle and remained at this position until being moved to left tackle as a junior.

Cousins' natural size and athleticism helped him make the transition to the offensive side of the ball, but he predictably struggled with technique. In making the move as a senior to the right side of the line, Cousins enjoyed significant improvement.

He flashes the foot quickness to ultimately move back to the left side and has developed his upper body strength and use of hands significantly. In fact, Cousins' rapid development has scouts talking of Cousins as one of the real "diamond in the rough" types of a strong 2008 crop of offensive tackles.

The concern, of course, is that Cousins remains an unpolished diamond -- one that will require some development before he is ready to contribute at the NFL level. Cousins flashes the athleticism needed to play on the outside, but early in his career teams may elect to move him inside -- where he has never played -- to get him acclimated to the speed of the pro game.

steelers have the worst line in the league and went 12-4. that's what happens when you have difference makers such as ben, wallace, and brown on offense.

                      Steve Holt is a bastard.

                        They have a 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd rounders along with a UDFA.. We have two firsts, a 3rd, a 5th and a UDFA.

                        Very comparable.

I agree it's the lack of playmakers, but at the same time their group actually knows how to pick up blocks, whereas ours don't. It has to come down down to coaching in that aspect, because our lines are quite comparable in position drafted.

A good coach can win with whatever players he has. If the Steelers had Charlie Batch back there it would have made no difference. Their coach calls winning plays, ours does not.

Not just a right tackle Rich. A left defensive end, an outside linebacker, a cornerback to replace Sheldon Brown, and you get your wish- a legit #1 WR. Two seasons back, it was 22 players, we're down to five now.

Wallace was awful last night. He kept throwing telegraphed out patterns to the sideline and nearly got a few picked off, and one was.

I mean, he should NEVER have thrown that way. It was a stupid, frantic decision. Earlier, Wallace ran for a lot of yards toward the goal line...

only to run out of bounds nearly four yards sooner that he'd be forced out, or would have had to cut back up the middle and slide.

That didn't show me anything good about him at all. Wallace's qb rating was about 42 ? Come ON, man.

Wallace played like he was afraid to get hurt and just wanted to go out to dinner after the game. Just awful, for the most part.

MoMass just doesn't have a quickness to his game that can get him open and get yac. But when Hillis can't get a first down and only gets

thirty some yards in weather like that? It's the right side. Go back and watch Hardesty gain nothing on one rush, and watch him lose two yards

on perhaps the next play. The right side doesn't have the explosion for the run game, but I will say, Hicks played a helluva lot nicer pass defense

at RT than Pashos has been able to do.

has always been a backup for good reasons. Even with the rest of the cast of the offense' weaknesses, Colt has the fire to inspire.
