What Would Make You Happy For Next Season?
-
Personally only one thing will get me excited for next year, and thats an overhall of the offense... really anything that can get the browns to a 24 point a game offense.
24 points a game is a magic number for this team.... For how long our defense was on the field compared to the offense this year was sick truly truly sick we couldn't extend a drive at all yet our defense stuffed a fat dick to a majority of other teams offenses, if we can extend drives and score some points you'll see this team get hot again.
The draft i kind of trust with Heckert, but i don't like his free agency moves (other than U.Young) he really needs to grab at a Star this year hopefully at wide receiver with that list as huge as it is, and we know we have nothing worth trading away at least that we shouldn't give up.
So i'll be the first to ask for donations to buy a Billboard sign just outside the browns stadium off the highway that says OFFENSE 2012 OFFENSE 2012 OFFENSE 2012 or anything catchy that lets these mother fuckers know what we really want this year.... well what i REALLY want this year lol

I'm not really for an overhaul this year. Two things that I really want:
1) Make our Defense ELITE! With 3 picks inside the top 40 I would like two spent on taking the best Free Safety, Cornerback, the best DE or the very best Linebacker. Yes, I know we have glaring holes everywhere. But let's finish something this year. I feel like the Browns are a foreclosed upon house with the floors falling out and the walls falling down, the cupboards are bare and in shambles but at least the roof keeps out water but is in need of repair. Let's finish on one project and move to the next one. This is a process that takes time, I understand. Let's work on making this Defense Elite- or at least able to stop the run. On defense I don't think we're that far off. To revamp the offense it would take 2 or 3 drafts, but the D can/could be finished this year.
2) Finish the O-Line. On paper we are very strong from the Center on Left. However, the right side has a steep drop off. It's easy for the other team to just line up their very best pass rusher up against our RT/RG and have a field day! We need to draft high and get a Franchise RT early in the draft or sign a very good RG/RT to our mix to even have a shot at having an Elite Offensive Line. I think Pinkston and Lavaman should fight it out for the RG spot. Joe Thomas, Eric Steinbach, Alex Mack, Pinkston/Lavaman, and a high pick or competent FA should make this line dominant and Hillis(or whomever is the starting HB) will thank you... as I'm just as sure- Colt will.
... There are a lot of things I would like to do: Get Luck, get Richardson, get Blackmon, get Minnifield, sign Desean Jackson, sign the DE from Huston, ect. ect. but I would be happy to see us finish the two things I mentioned above.

Int the 1st round a pick for offense and defense would make me happy. A stud playmaker WR and a stud LB. then the rest of the draft we fill in the holes, CB DE another WR and a RT. if a good QB is left in the 3rd/4th, grab him.

so..
Blackmon
Burfict
Minnifield
Best RT
-
Yeah, if Blackmon is there that would be nice. Burfict is a beast from the film I've seen on him. However, I don't think that Burfict will still be there at our second pick. If he rises in the draft board before the draft and Blackmon is gone, do you take Vontaze 1st and Kendall Wright second? Do you guys think that a third round draft pick at the RT/RG position will increase the strength of the OLine? I'm not entirely sure that a third rounder will do it, granted it is a low third so closer to a late 2nd.
Kinda wish we would have gotten Bowers last year... didn't he have like 11 sacks this season- despite being used sparingly in the first half of the season? He and Sheard would be a dominate tandem. Vontaze, Dqwell and GoCong could be a nice LB core until next year. Minnifield and Haden at 1 and 2. Ward and Brown at S and the young man from Houston = Top 5 D next season.

5 home wins.

Burfict is Suh on stupid pills. The Browns won't draft him. I think this draft is so confusing, I can't yet come up with
my yearly stupid mock draft. @@
-
I think the whole draft is going to come down to what with do with our first pick based on who's available. I think Blackmon is first priority and if he's gone trade back with some team like Washington that wants to make a move for RGIII. Draft 2 wide receivers, an OLB, RT, and DE/CB best available.

Definetly 2-3 other beast guys for the D, making our D sexy as fuck. Also two recievers, a RB, and RT. That's it.
