  • Fedora, baby.

  • Stairway to seven collapses.

On a side note, the Stoolers lost even with help from the officials. That was a backward pass.

Not to mention the three incidental facemasks that didn't get called.

Tomlin "we don't complain about injuries". Nope, we just let the announcers make excuses for us. Good Lord, Simms did everything but go down on the field and kiss Ben's owie to try and make it better.

Well, I guess you can say that that is the one thing the Browns contributed here.....BR, Pouncey, Mendenhall all got their injuries in games against the Browns. The latter 2 didn't play at all and BR was, by some estimation "shaky", though truly I don't think that his ankle was as bad as all that nor did it inhibit him much. But, if it was as bad, and did inhibit him....good. Like I said, the Browns did their part in contributing to that.

I thought the offensive line for the Stoolers would've certainly been called for holding sometime during the secomd half. At one point during one of Redd's long runs they grabbed the back of one of the denvers D-lines helmet and pulled him down to the ground.

  • Did anyone else notice the play clock expire by at least 4 seconds on 1st and 10 on one of Pittsburgh's drives? Then they called them for a false start. I think it was sometime in the 4th quarter. Just add that on the no-call fasemasks, backwards pass, and whatever else. If someone else noticed, please reply.

Yes! I noticed that too. It should have been a delay of game but a false start is essentially the same thing (both 5 yard penalties). It wasn't the only time the play clock expired without a delay of game either. It happened at least 2 or 3 times throughout that game. Really pathetic officiating for a playoff game..

It was a non factor since the Steelers failed with basic open field tackling. You got beat by a team that runs the option.

It certainly was a factor, because it should have been called, and it wasn't. Who's YOU? You do know I am a Browns fan, dickhead?

Yes, let's celebrate the Steelers not getting to SEVEN................ while we finish 4 - 12 and have NEVER EVEN BEEN TO ONE.

Ben played a great game considering he was hurt and compromised.

However, I said all along Tebow was a star.

Wave your schwantzes all you want, BUT, the Steelers losing a tough playoff game doens't in any way shape or form erase 12 years of shit, Lerner football.

Why does it seem to me that you think that the two endeavors cannot be mutually inclusive?

To me, bitching about the ineptness of the Browns does not mean that we cannot also say "F...you to the Steelers when they lose.

You, however, seem to contend that just because the Browns are crap that we must suckle the teat of the Pisstown Pussies if they are playing well.

That ain't ever going to happen. Not from this quarter.

You can suckle that teat all you want. Me, I am going to bite it. And by the way....I am happy that it was the Browns that bit that tit by putting BR in the position of being hurt and compromised.

As for Tebow, I am glad he came through, because, to me, it was simply a matter of the lesser of two evils. I am not going to suckle that teat either like you want to. In most other circumstances I would not likely have been rooting for him to do well. Nothing personal, its just that the Broncos can die a slow tortuous death for all I care.

And yes, through all this, I will continue to bitch about the Browns ineffectiveness. Because I am a fan of the Browns....I am not a fan of those other assholes you mention in your post. They can both eat shit. The Steelers have now done so. I suspect the Broncos will soon.
