What We Have Seen Today

The Browns Board
27 19 1.8k
  • What I saw were good coaches and players that would run through the wall for their coaches.

I don't see anyone busting down a wall for Pat.

  • I saw very poor play by the Denver RG, and even RT.

and even when Tebow had time, he had nobody open to throw to.Bad matchup. The Browns

could have played a great defensive game against the Pats... again. Things are lookin up for the Browns.

And no change-up on playcalling. The squeelers were stupid and off guard,

    but the Pats were ready.

I saw outstanding pass protection for Brady, and Brady many quick throws - when he had at least one wide open

outlet every play, usually two, sometimes three open wr's.

  • denver vs Ne provided us with an excellent illustration of what happens when a coach is able to come up with offensive and defensive

scheme that completely takes the opponent to his knees/ No big bellidick fan, but is was pretty effin obvious he had no intention

whatsoever of losing his third consecutive playoff game. hope shumur watched and learned.

You saw the teacher (Brady) teaching the student (Tebow) just how far removed the latter is from being an upper tiew NFL QB. brady was masterful

in leading the offense. His confidence and abilities raised the play of his teammates. He is truely a leader/warrior. Hope Colt watched and learned.

SF-NO game was classic. Could be, for me, one of the best playoff games ever.

The magic continues today. I like both home teams to cover the line easily.

God bless America and f ghoolie.

  • tight ends, not wrs. welker might have caught 3 balls. brady had all day in the pocket.

tebow, the run and his so-called new passing game was non-existent. it woulda been more exciting if they didn't even show up.

    fxxk denver. irrelevant now.

sure. Odd, Brady and Brees must have lost al-l-l-l-l-l-l their confidence in 2010, eh? I guess Brees and Brady

lost allll their confidence, and gosh knows, every freakin bit of their abilities and became stinkin followers and forgot how to lead,

and became losers who were completely stupid as to how to be able to "raise the play of their teammates", when they played the Browns then, huh?

It looks like Colt McCoy did the teaching. 😁 Colt RAISED THE PLAY OF HIS TEAMMATES !

That's what happens when the OL BLOCKS, Hillis is HEALTHY and RUNS, and we CATCH the ball and MAKE PLAYS... Colt will be a good if not great NFL QB, he just needs some weapons to make it work.

We need to solidify the OL or we're never going to be good.

  • Tough Young QB that doesn't get sacked and isn't afraid to throw the ball to receivers even when they are covered. T.J. Yates?... Texas can keep him.

Every game i've seen the D has won the game, even in the new england game...they never let Tebow take a breath...and even though all the broncos fans are saying that Coach B. was to hard on them and it was unsportsmanlike to pad the score they should be tickled to think that coach B. realized that with Teboy in the game is never over...heck a meteor could have fallen and taken out the entire new england team...you never know...in my opinion the score was still a bit to close for comfort.

  • You know what I saw today in the NE- Denver game? Brady had time to have lunch, and survey the field before he launched a pass. So don't tell me effective line play isn't important. Yeah- he has good skill players too- but it all starts with the o-line blocking.

How many of his passes too were straight down the middle. Yes he had some down the sides, but there always seems to be someone crossing down the middle. I really can't think of anytime that we did that once this past year.

    YAY !!!!!!

ya can't on top of your game EVERY sunday!!!

  • What we've seen this weekend is that the DL that's more better than the opponent OL wins. OL matters! NO lost.. because their OL wasn't better than the SF DL. GB is losing because the NYG DL is beating the GB OL - and the NYG OL is dominating the GB DL.

DEN lost because they sucked at everything, can't draw any conclusion from that beatdown. Houston lost because their QB couldn't do anything, not shocking.. they'd probably win the AFC with either schaub or leinart.

Yes, we need playmakers at WR, but we need DL and OL MORE than either WR or QB. Yes, Cruz was an undrafted FA, but his season is only possible because Nicks was a first-rounder.

In short, we need talent at many spots including QB/WR, but DL/OL should continue to be the priority.
