  • I don't know enough to have an opinion, but I don't want a hot head like Suh coming in here and drawing 15 yarders all the time and giving up first downs. You can be a badass and still play smart... Clay Matthews anyone.

You wouldn't want Suh on our line, huh? 🙄

M'kay. Thanks for chiming in, kid.

  • nope....he didn't do them much good while serving that suspension...did he? or all the penalty yards....

great players are only great if they can actually get on the field.

burfict is an fucking child thats akin to harrison, only not as smart. browns fans whose opinions i trust have all said the opposite of what you claim....that this kid is constantly overpersuing and out of position cause he's going for the highlight reel hit. thats great and all....except for the 3-4 missed tackles along the way to get that big hit.

sorry....you just seem like a guy that very flavor of the month. whoever makes news on bspn is apparently your guy.

At this point, no I don't and I'm entitled to that opinion. Is he a great player yes, but he's hurting his team and himself with his tantrums on the field. He's been caught on camera many times doing dirty things. I don't like him and I don't think anyone wants that on their team.

  • Our defense could definitely use a furious fiery leader on the field to spank them as well as the fans into a fury simply from leading by example and vocally expecting everyone to rise to the occasion and play at their best..

However with a hum drum deadbeat coach like shurmur i am pretty sure ray lewis like behavior or even less is absolutely prohibited and frowned upon as it may instigate players to actually have fun again playing in cleveland and could even lead to the return of rabid browns fans actually enjoying attending games again..

A physically motivational vocal leader on the field would be great even if the dude is narsty!

IMHO this team needs at least one of these guys on each side of the ball..

But we also need a brilliant harbaugh like head coach but we wont get that either, instead we got another knot on the log manic depressant head hanger..

  • He only plays hard when he gets angry and he always gets penalties when he gets angry not worth it.

  • I don't know enough to have an opinion, but I don't want a hot head like Suh coming in here and drawing 15 yarders all the time and giving up first downs. You can be a badass and still play smart... Clay Matthews anyone.

I will take a talent like Suh....or like this guy....if the meanness and attitude are there. It is always possible to coach the stupid out of them....but it is not always possible to coach the down and dirty that you sometimes need into them. (Though Dick LeBeau has seemed capable of it)

  • He's an absolute moron and a meat head. He has all the talent in the world but makes big mistakes in games. Maybe with 22 but might not be worth the risk.

Of course, Pittsburgh will draft him, and he will straighten his shit out. Then we will have to face him twice a year.

  • he would have no chance to break their starting lineup. i realize youre being facetious, but they've already got 30 mil tied up in their starting LBs, with sylvester and worilds waiting in the wings.

frankly, i'd love for them to draft this kid. just means they'll continue to get weaker at other positions.

  • I feel like Baltimore would be the more likely landing place for him before Shitsburgh

  • While some of the Polly Prissy Pants are wringing their hands and pouting about things like, "Oh, gosh, gee! He gets too many flags!"

... I'm dreaming about Burfict bringing the hammer, like this...

If he can get his act together than fine... bring him on.. but if he turns into a Pac-man Jones were in trouble. And don't forget, we have a hitter like TJ Ward.

Yes, TJ is in the secondary, but we need a hitter at LB...expecially OLB.

Is Burfict more of an inside LB...or an OLB?

T.J. Ward is starting to look like a one hit wonder, (so to speak.)

He had that hit on tiny little Jordan Shipley in the endzone, and that's it. He still has a long way to prove he's anything but an occasional trucker, who's usually completely out of position to make any kind of play on the ball.

Ward had more highlights in his rookie season than some of our defensive players have had in their entire career.

    He'll be a force.

I think Burfict is an ignorant thug and has no business on the field. But the same things were said about Ray Lewis, and I consider him to be one of the most stand-up guys in the league, as well as a lock for the HOF. It's funny how almost going to jail for murder will do that to you.

If Burfict can harness his aggression and become even half the player Ray Lewis is, I wouldn't mind it. But that's a big if, and I honestly don't think he's capable of it. At this point, I'd say no thanks.

  • The problem isn't that Burfict isn't a good player.

The problem is I'd rather have several of the players we'd have to overlook to take Burfict. He's maybe a top30 talent, but we're picking at 22.

Hightower is a better player. So are Mike Brockers, Cordy Glenn, and especially Kendall Wright - who I hope we grab.
