Norwood was the 1990 super bowl not 1992
Year isn't important- I have to vote that as the biggest choke in the history of football, as it was that last play IIRC that would finally have give the Bills a much deserved SB win.
BTW, ESPN reported Kyle Williams is getting death threats for those flubs.

Norwood's miss was from 47 yards, I'd give him benefit of the doubt there.

In NFL lore, if we are going to have "The Drive", "The Fumble", "Red Right 88" for Browns fans, or "The Tuck Rule" or "The Catch", or "The Holy Roller" or "The Immaculate Reception" and such things, certainly this week's game gave rise to two (or three) of the biggest goat's in NFL playoff history. So, herewith allow us to play the Game and introduce you to the the biggest goat's in NFL playoff history:
Billy Goat's Gruff...2011 Baltimore Ravens kicker Bill Cundiff misses tying chip shot field goat....err I mean field goal vs. Pats.
Kenny Williams. This one needs a name. Backup punt returner muffs one kick and fumbles another to allow Giants to win NFC title game in OT
Doug Brien, NY Jets mist 2 FGs late in a game of the 2004 playoffs that could have allowed the Jets to move on in the playoffs.
Mr. Imperfect. 1999 Minnesota Vikings Kicker Gary Anderson had NOT missed a FG kick the entire season. Yes, he was perfect....until the closing minute of the NFC title game when he missed a 38 yard FG that would have won the game and sent the Vikings to the Super Bowl. He missed.
Wide Right. In the 1992 Super Bowl Scott Norwood misses a 48 yard FG that would have won the SB for the Buffalo Bills. He missed Wide Right.
The Romorooski. In NFC title game the Cowboys trail the Seahawks 21-20 and line up for a chip shot FG to win the game. Tony Romo drops the snaps from center and tries to run it in. He comes up short.
The Drop. Jackie Smith drops a pass that could have given the Cowboys a win over the Steelers in the Super Bowl.
The Drop II...or I in the eyes of Browns fans. In the 2002 playoff game between the Steelers and Browns, Dennis Northcutt drops a pass that would have give the Browns a first down, thereby sealing a Browns win because they could have run out the clock. Instead, the Browns must punt and the Steelers come back to win.
The Fumble. Ernest Byner of the Browns fumbles the ball a yard or two from the goal line when it seemed he was on his way into the end zone for a tying touchdown.
Laces Out, Dan. In Super Bowl XVII kicker Ray Finkle of the Miami Dolphins misses a game winning field goal. He claims his miss was caused because holder Dan Marino failed to turn the ball so that the laces were facing forward. Replays evidence that Finkle's accusations against Marino were unfounded.
Can you add to this list of NFL playoff goats? (real or imagined)
Agree on Nowood... 47 yd is hardly automatic.
As for Cundif... I could not have been more pleased by the miss, but if the Crab Cake Crowd is blaming him, they need to ask what their HC was saving that last TO for. The whole attempt was rushed for absolutely no reason. But in the age of Harbaugh(s), I guess you don't question them...

1. How 'bout "The Muffle"?
2. What voice software are you using?

Red Right 88
If you don't know what that means, then you're not a real Browns fan.

Red Right 88
If you don't know what that means, then you're not a real Browns fan.
