well we don't have a running game, so......you might as well scratch point number one off the board. we don't have any sure handed receivers, so there goes point number two.

sounds like everything the browns are now just another paycheck is all.

How dare u talk like that ?

Now Holmgren wont give you playoff tickets when the Browns make it to the playoffs.

He's fine as OC, the Vikings hardly ever had any good receivers either, Bernard Berrian was a #1 there for a while and Percy Harvin isn't a sure thing, kind of like Cribbs.

How about a Browns fan who lives in Minnesota who got to watch all my friends hate Chilly?

                Can I bitch about Chilly?

                  hi cleveland fans,

vikings fan here....thought i would give you some insight as to what you have to look forward to....

                  1. get used to the browns running on first and second down alot

                  2. when it is third and long...get used to passes that are thrown just short of the first down line

                  3. confounding uses of time outs

                  4. a nonexistent two minute offense...

                  sorry

                  sorry

As others have said, that sounds just like the offense we have had here...except that the Browns actually had some of their best production in the two minute offense.

Or,perhaps it is "the system" that these guys are running. The WCO does use a lot of short passes and has a lot of reliance on YAC, even in 3rd down situations.

I guess that may be all fine, well, and good when you have Jerry Rice catching, but it may not work with lesser lights.

I think the only reason Childress ran on 1st and second down would be because they have fucking Adrian Peterson. If we had AP.. I would be pissed if we didn't run on 1st and 2nd down. Actually, if my mind serves me right, they were pretty much a pass first in his last two years as head coach when Brett was at the helm. And Brett's "unclutchness" was probably a good reason they didn't make it to the super bowl. I think he'll be just fine.

Well from the looks of it, we should be making the playoffs in about 6 seasons. Oh boy...

That's what you got out of that? I saw one losing season, than marked improvement and consistent winning at both stops.

The guy was a key figure in two different successful franchises this decade ... and people are bitching?

Seriously, who did you want to be Shurmur's offensive coordinator?

I'd prefer Sean Payton but he might not be real interested in the job

I think the only reason Childress ran on 1st and second down would be because they have fucking Adrian Peterson. If we had AP.. I would be pissed if we didn't run on 1st and 2nd down. Actually, if my mind serves me right, they were pretty much a pass first in his last two years as head coach when Brett was at the helm. And Brett's "unclutchness" was probably a good reason they didn't make it to the super bowl. I think he'll be just fine.

I guess Favre did go out on a bad note for all the teams he played with.

Haha. Thank you for the humor. I'm just glad we never had to deal with him in Cleveland!

Gee, I was thinking that's how Manning's going to look the first time someone gives him a good blindside hit. 😁
