Kucinich

[Westside Steve]

I just wanted to state for the record I'm disappointed the dennis kucinich lost his congressional race.

There is probably little I would completely agree with in his platforms but it seems to me the little guy is a straight shooter.

Sure, he has a tendency to grand stand on occasion but almost always has the balls to offer a straight answer.

I think it was good to have a guy like him in congress.

As you probably know I spend a great deal of time in northwest ohio was nothing to watch but the local news on rabbit ears. Marcy Kapturas always struck me as the typical party hack.

I can agree with some of what this blogger has to say about Kucinich's career.

Lowlights from Kucinich’s clownish career include the forced sale of Cleveland’s electric plant when he was mayor, and a farcical attempt to impeach Vice President Cheney for frightening liberals in 2007. Other lowlights:

• Suing because he found an olive pit in his salad at the congressional cafeteria.

• Receiving marching orders from UFOs.

• Voting against a resolution honoring the victims of 9/11.

• Receiving an endorsement from ultra-left Hollyweird weenie Viggo Mortensen.

• Praising Syrian dictator Bashar Assad while snubbing US troops.

• Trying to cut off funding to those troops.

• Sucking up $3 million of OUR MONEY for his quixotic 2004 presidential campaign

I would say his lawsuit over the olive pit was his best accomplishment.

Sutton is my rep, so I never had to consider voting for or against him. I never cared for him personally.

The olive pit incident solidified my thinking of him as an absolute fuckin' douche. Really Dennis? Really?

Kucinich was a nut. You could always depend on him to embarrass Ohio.

And the people who worshipped the ufo he rode on?

Embarrassing. Glad to see him go.
