Rg3 And Colt At Dinner With Photo
-
Found this the other day on the web...This is the dinner for the Davey O'brien award that RG3 won this year...i think Colt won it a few years ago. But if you go to the link...copyrighted pictures so can't post link and to lazy to do screencapture....anyway...they are standing about 3 feet apart...
I would give rg3 the height advantage, but colt is beefing up, damn he must weigh 240...his shoulders are also taller but rg3 has longer arm span so about even throwing over the line...
here is the link
http://www.daveyobrien.org/awards/2012-hall-of-fame.asp photo is last row 3rd photo down. if you go back a page hit previous probably 100 photos and slides of RG3...check out his socks...they even made him a special Davey O'brien pair with the statue.
here is the socks they made for him

If we go after RG3 and get him does anyone really believe that squirmur will or can effectively adjust the offense to accommodate rg3?
IMHO Shurmur did a poor job of fitting colt who is also a shotgun QB into his version of the WCO and i would bet there would be very little change, so the real question would be, can rg3 learn and adapt to squirmurs pro set both faster and more naturally than colt?
Because colt really looked like a fish out of water in that setup..
Problem 2 is that squirmur seems to be a power hungry coach with a shitty gameplan that gives little or no power to the QB leaving nothing but a few fairly predictable options on the field..
There are 2 or 3 guys that the browns are likely looking at that would be more effective than colt or maybe even rg3 so dont be suprised if we go toward tannehill with #22 instead of a trade for rg3 with #4..
Its really not fair to judge the coach or colt from last years no bonding time fiasco but honestly in my mind shurmur and his wretched playbook, playcalling and poor implementation of mccoy into that system which did not utilize colts strengths is what really stunk the teams offense up, the offensive blocking schemes were non existent and squirmy has no balls...
Im really hoping with a full normal offseason that shurmur takes the time to implement things in a more aggressive, vertical and less predictable manner and catering more to whichever guy gets the nod because this year is a judgement year on the squirmur since he wants all the power to control the offense when the dude at least thusfar really doesnt fit well with what i like to see in a "supposed to be" offensive minded coach, from what we seen last year i would put his offensive expertise and creative genius somewhere in between mangini and dabol....
And that aint no compliment...

Based on what happened last year, I'd say 98% probability Tannehill won't be there @ #22. Ponder & Gabbert went way before they were projected to go- to qb needy teams. Expect one of the teams losing out on the Flynn\ Manning derby to reach.

I'd say Grif has at least an inch on him ... no big deal, but it is what is.
