I get being mad about playing the whole season with an injury and then getting cut... but if you were told that it was going to take 9-10 months to rehab your foot after surgery then why did you wait until last week to get it done. What the hell were the Brown's supposed to do? You waited to get surgery so you wouldn't have to play next season. Might as well cut you and save 2.5 million on the 3.5 million they would have owed him to go on IR.

There are a bunch of RTs available in FA and the draft that are wayyy more serviceable than Pashos

)Someone who isn't 34, and has missed games due to injury the last couple years. We just got rid of one crip- yippee!!! Let's bring in another one to replace him.
We're looking for long term answers.
PS The Vikes moves GUARANTEE Blackmon is going to be there @ #4. Makes me pretty happy.
Edit: There's a picture of what Pashos' foot looks like floating around on twitter- not going to post it here- you guys should be smart enough to find it if you're curious. (It' ain't pretty) But it does beg the question- why did he wait to have it worked on until now?

Pashos will not be playing for anyone this year, and probably is done period in the NFL- go Google his foot surgery if you doubt me. Care to tell me what team will have a use for a 32 year old RT in 2013 who's been constantly hurt? Especially since using your analogy, they can pick up a dime a dozen RT in the seventh round of the draft and pay them rookie wage scale- $375k (I looked it up), instead of the $810k Pashos is guaranteed as a nine year vet?
