The Browns Board

  • I just don't know about tebow. Guy is a player and a competitor, but his mechanics as a QB are odd. But, I will say that Kosar, didn't have the prettiest looking delivery either. But issues remain with Tebow and his mechanics. Remember he is a QB first, runner second.

The reason Tebow flourished in Denver was because the offense was designed around him. John Fox is an awesome coach who played to his strengths and made the offense work for him. If he were to try and enter a system where the offense made for him, he's going to crash and burn. BUT, it's clear that the guy can win in the NFL if a team gives him the tools to play to his strengths. From a browns perspective (not like i had any belief he'd be in the running), he'd fail on a tragic proportion.

  • Let the Tim Tebow to Cleveland rumors begin since Denver will try trading him........Any takers lmfao

  • He wins! Took a 1-4 team to the play- offs. What did the current browns QB do?

  • Get this shit out of here haha.

  • KNew someone else would see the humor in this hahahaaa...Just hope I'm not jinxing it!

  • He'd be an upgrade over Marecic.

    Zombo

  • I hear Holmgren is going to offer three firsts and a second so we don't lose out this time. Tebow Time!

  • Colt McCoy just doesn't get the job done. We definitely need a major QB upgrade. Many of the top teams aren't all that great, they just have a superstar quarterback pulling it altogether. Stop laughing at the thought of Tebow, it's a step in the right direction.

  • we already have a QB with an issue throwing a football. lateral move imo without even considering the cost. id rather suffer thru another season of colt.

  • HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA .

    what a bunch of suckers.

first it's we gotta get RG3. everyone praising him before he takes a snap in the NFL. now we NEED tim tebow?

    what are you 15?

  • You've got to give it to Tebow, he does know how to win, which is something we sure as hell haven't seen in forever.

Your right! The browns should stick with what they have now. Everything is working so well.

    Who's the sucker?

Quite the opposite. The key to the WCO is accuracy in the short game with a quick release. and those are anti-Tebow traits.

    15 and a half.

  • Hell with Denver, I absolutely hate that team.

Tebow can't throw. He is awful. Yes he has the intangibles you want in a QB, but he can't freakin throw the ball. No way do I trade for him and now way does H & H either, count on it.

  • No just kidding, lol. We'd never get Tebow

But with Hillis gone we need a RB... 😎

On Manning... I don't get his choice. I see SF more SB ready than DNV. Other than a possible "connection" with Elway, they have nothing on SF.

He'd have to beat Eli's ass in the playoffs every year

that would inspire Me even more to take the SF 49ers...wow awww I dont wanna beat My poor lil brother who has 2 rings already...get off it (sissyboi Manning)...be a man for godsake.

  • The issue with our organization is that they only want players that "fit". Meaning picking up a guy like Tebow wouldn't fit in the WCO, so they would have to adjust the offense accordingly. Will this building process work out? I haven't seen any signs that that it will.

Instead of going after the best talent available and designing to your strengths. They It almost seems like a harder way to build a team. If in a certain offseason, there are 5-6 good QB's available in FA or Draft. How many of them really "Fit"? Chances are only one or two. But it's even more unlikely that those QB's are going to best the most talented available. So what we are doing is settling for less talented players, just because they fit the system.

It's the same reason they didn't want Vickers, same reason they don't feel the need for play-making receivers. From what I have seen the WCO consists of a few dozen 2 yard screen passes and field goals. So will Tebow really hurt? Not sure. But I guarantee H&H won't go after him.

    Go Cavs! haha
