The issue with our organization is that they only want players that "fit". Meaning picking up a guy like Tebow wouldn't fit in the WCO, so they would have to adjust the offense accordingly. Will this building process work out? I haven't seen any signs that that it will.
Instead of going after the best talent available and designing to your strengths. They It almost seems like a harder way to build a team. If in a certain offseason, there are 5-6 good QB's available in FA or Draft. How many of them really "Fit"? Chances are only one or two. But it's even more unlikely that those QB's are going to best the most talented available. So what we are doing is settling for less talented players, just because they fit the system.
It's the same reason they didn't want Vickers, same reason they don't feel the need for play-making receivers. From what I have seen the WCO consists of a few dozen 2 yard screen passes and field goals. So will Tebow really hurt? Not sure. But I guarantee H&H won't go after him.

That's the only statistic that matters. Kosar had GREAT accuracy records, yet when it came to putting away a team we had on the run, he choked, got conservative and never could get it done.
If Tebow WERE available to us, the idea of him being the long-term QB we seek isn't even a consideration.
The only thing that is of concern is this......... Is he better than the piece of shit we have now?

If the Browns were in that division we would be a middle of the division team perennially. Tebow has the luxury of playing in a team with an awesome defense and opponents who are average at best. If Carson Palmer did not shit the bed in the final few Raiders games It will be the Raiders in the playoffs. Did u watch Tebow play during the final 3 games of regular season? Even in the Playoffs the Broncos need to thank the Browns for crippling Big Ben. Else It will be the Steelers Vs the Pats. In case you have forgotten the Browns are trying to win the division not pray for salvation

If we can get him for a late round pick I am all for it.
Sure, it may fuck with w/e "plan" we are trying to implement, and if he is the backup people will constantly be calling for him... but he has the right attitude and can bring some life to this team.

Hopefully. If they were to accept that, and we could get a playmaker for a 5th rounder, I will take it. The dude had like 18 total TDs last year (2 less than the Browns entire offense)

Incarcerated Bob is pretty much a fraud.
All you really need to know is the part I cut out of the article.

On accuracy of âreporting,â Bob fared much better. He scored a 29% accuracy rating with how often his âreportsâ turned out ultimately to be correct."
