Hits and Misses?

One observation about the 2009 draft first round: there were more better players taken at 10 and below than 10 and above. The best you have 1-10 are a couple of "iffy" QBs. Stafford iffy because of health, Sanchez iffy because of being iffy.

The Gipper

Re: 2007. Some big busts, but overall a fairly fine draft 1st round:

Hits: Calvin Johnson, Joe Thomas, Adrian Peterson, Patrick Willis, Marshawn Lynch, Darelle Revis, Michael Griffin, Dwayne Bowe, Brandon Meriweather, Jon Beason, Joe Staley

Misses: Jamarcus Russell, Gaines Adams, Justin Harrell, Craig Davis, Brady Quinn.

SDBrownsFan

-The most alarming thing I see are teams seeking out pash rushers and coming up empty MOST of the time.

Adams, Anderson, Okoye, Curry, Maybin, Dorsey, Ellis, Harvey

OUCH! And these are all Top 15 guys most Top 10.

-RBs have been really successful- something that isn't mentioned alot.

Johnson, Mendenhall, Stewart, Peterson, Lynch, McFadden

-Corners seems to be doing well.

-WRs are wildly unpredictable.

On one hand you have Kenny Britt, Bowe, Harvin and the other hand Buster Davis and Anthony Gonzalez. All drafted where we will pick late 1st round.

-I can't think of another QB drafted recently that I would take over Stafford. To say he's "iffy" and group him with Sanchez even with the health concerns is misleading.

Yes, I know that Stafford seems outstanding. I was referring solely to the fact that he has lost large amounts of time to injury. Hopefully for his sake he is over the injury bug.

Where's 1.32? Was someone penalized a first round pick in '08? Or was it a Supplemental draft thing?
